Knight at Arms
I guess everyone has noticed the game uses two arrow models. Stationary arrow is fine but when you shoot an arrow, its just a long brown stick. No metal head or no tail, absolutely no detail. It looks very bad if you're a person who cares about such details (its very difficult not to notice if you use bows a lot). I guess its because of the performance issues but current one is a bit extreme. If a low detail (low poly count, less textures I don't know) arrow model can be used instead of this stick, I would be happy.

Second issue about the arrows is shooting animation. If you look carefully, you can see that arrow starts flying from the behind of the archer (like its teleported there) instead of the bow. Is it a bug or required for some reason?.

Yeah, the brown stick look of a streaking arrow is kinda crappy. Plenty of game versions to go before final though.

As for arrows starting behind the archer, from what I understand this is currently necessary since the arrow might otherwise go straight through an enemy without hitting if they were too close to you. It's a limitation of the hit detection code with high speed objects.

By the way, nice Kenshin avatar. The Rurouni Kenshin OVA happens to be my favorite anime.
