didnt find a thread about it, so i ask you...

is there any possiblity to abort a (faction)quest?

i got quests like "bring x horses" to... and i had no option to not accept it or to abort it later... but i dont wanna do them

so - can i abort them, and if so.. how?

thanks

yeh, I guess its because I've been using 710 save file, but I've been stuck with Capture a Nobleman quest I was assigned to in 710. Also got a new quest that has me intercepting some Raiders that attacked a Village near Jelkala(sp?) before they get back to their base in (can't remember their city). So I decided to tackle that one by going to their base city and just waiting for them since I have an all infantry army that moves very slow, so iw as afraid I would miss them otherwise. But I waited there for like 3 days and then moved to Jelkala to see if they were still there, but they weren't. So I started wondering around but I still can't find them, like a week has passed and I still haven't gotten a Failed Quest Message, so I'm not sure what's wrong, maybe they never spawned in the first place.

Can't be done. Get a new one in another city if you don't like the one you have.

and somewhen you have ****ty quests from everywhere

i think there should be a possibility to not accept a quest like merchant quests.... or maybe just for "collect X and bring them to me" ones....

They must have gotten side-tracked on the way. It happens... they come across a party that they run from and then they get off course. Depending on the situation, they could easily get to the other side of the map. If you want, you can enable cheats and then see where they are. If the party does get defeated by someone else, you WILL get a "quest failed" message.

I've had the best luck on those missions by going to the town of origin (where the raid was) and then catching up to them. They tend to move slow and stop often. You might be able to do that with your all infantry army.

Yeh I realise now thats what I should have done. But I figured Raiders sound fast and my army can only move at like 5.9

you can't deny your leige!

You don't run out of time on the "get X and bring it to me" missions, so I don't worry too much about them. With the new patch, loot is much more lucrative, I've fulfilled 3 or 4 of those missions without having to buy a thing. They don't yield enough gold or xp to make them worth actually putting effort in.
One of 'em wants 4 Knights now though, no chance in Hell, they took an age to get trained up!

The problem is the lords are not ordinary NPC's. Once you join Swadians for example, you are a member of the Swadian army and Swadian lords are your superiors. They are ordering you as your commander, not asking a favor. And orders are unquestionable in armies. You should quit the army service if you don't like taking orders. At least I have always considered these missions like this.

Hmmm... is it just me or is everyone here in error and you actually can abort missions? I'm assuming it's just me. Keeping in mind I'm referring to The Last Days mod, we may all be correct. Has that mod added the function to abort missions all on it's own?

Great when the first faction mission is get 3 black armours... or 12 chargers... or 5 SOWs... or 8 Great Helms.

Yay! Currently I have the first one...
