Sometimes it is hard to do so. Village near my hometown has the same name as one in game, by accident. And ever since i play MaB, i have strong urge to go there and collect taxes

I dont want to talk offtopic only - AAR Me, Floris, is definitely most wonderful and full of imagination - it really goes far beyond original game in a way i like - great work!

One question for you. Why did you pick Holland as his homeland? You could've picked France, England, Denmark, you could've made him a Templar Knight. Why from holland?

Maszi: When king Harlaus assigned a castle I had conquered to another lord, I got the option to rebel. I could then choose to go back being his vassal (and act like nothing has happened), give back all the fiefs, start over and won't face his armies, or openly rebel and let all hell rain over me (although it poured over Harlaus). I choose that last option. Maybe you've chosen the second one?

Mixedpotatoes: It was a crazy idea I had back then: create a character based on someone form the real world, and let him wind up in Calradia. Unlike someone who was born there, he really doesn't know anything about their history, and is truly a stranger walking amidst the Calradians.

Knighttemplar12: One simple reason: I live in Holland. I could indeed have picked any other country, and even more interesting and powerfull ones than that backwater county called Holland, but I just stayed home that day .

Stildawn: Duke? No, he may have wished... only count :p. Here is his wikipedia entry. By the way, his face is modelled after his father, since Floris' face on wiki is covered by some helmet.

I'm sorry to keep you all waiting for so long. Rest assured that I'm working very hard on the next version of the Floris Mod Pack, which I will use in the next chapter. It's more work than I had anticipated (I'm working fulltime for almost a month on it now!), but I think it will be worth it.

well.... its just that it wasn't really an important country during the medieval ages and there were a lot of bigger countries that he could've picked... I guess I can see why, it would be original, and believe me I think it was a smart idea its jut that.. It confuses me lol

It seems this "real life" is a viscious monster, we need to stab it in the neck before it can destroy us, if we engage in swordplay eventually it will overwhelm us, so we have to strike the blow before the counter. I am going to write an AAR and not release ANYTHING on it until I finish, so that the monster can't see me strike, then it will already be cast. I just need to decide what mod to do it on.....
