killer110: I wouldn't be happy if I stopped right now: I have once abandoned an AAR, and it still doesn't feel right. So I'll continue till the end, no matter how long it takes. Don't worry about that (and then I won't worry when I go to sleep).
I have succesfully tested the Floris Basic Mod Pack standalone version on Warband version 1.105, 1.113, 1.125, 1.127 and 1.131, so I guess it works on all versions. I still need some permissions though before I can post it. And I haven't looked yet at the problems I had while merging this with Diplomacy. I know where the problem lies, but I don't know yet how to solve it.
For now I'll leave it as it is, since I'm going to fire up the game now to continue the adventures of Floris.

Would you be able to upload a pic (either png or jpeg) of your map at this stage
But at max resolution (as that one is only 800x800 ish and not ideal)
I dont know much about Gimp... As I use PS but if at all possible can you use gimp layed files in PS? If so your layers would be nice to if you dont mind.
But I can work with just a png of the above...

Dohati: It's a wise decission to teach your children Dutch . It will be a tough nut to translate.
killer110: Well, English isn't my primary language - Dutch is. Most of my writings are in Dutch: my AARs are among the few things I write directly in English.
In my first draft it was titled simply Elisa, after the girl who's the main character. But it might change in Elisa zoekt de Noorderzon. Literally translated that would be: Elisa searches the Northern Sun or Elisa seeks the Northern Sun (both meanings can apply). There's also the Dutch saying met de noorderzon vertrekken (literally: to go away with the northern sun, figurely: to abscond quietly, to be suddenly away), which the title refers to. But since in Dutch nouns are not written with capitals, this can only mean that in this case that northern sun is also a person. Ow, and Noorderzon originally (like in Floris' time) meant midnight, but hardly any Dutchy knows that nowadays.

Calradia.png (10.2 MB), the png you requested.
Calradia.xcf (140 MB), the layered Gimp-file I work with. You might find some interesting layers.
Calradia.psd (166 MB), the layered painshop/photoshop-file. I saved it in Gimp as this one, I hope it works.
The resolution of all three files is 3920x2784. I normally work on that resolution. Only in the end I reduce the size to the one you find on the forum.
Edit: 20,000 views! And on the Paradox Forum there are also 15,000 views, totalling a stunning 35,000 views. Wow.

Yes 3920x2784 will do nicely... It is alway preferable to work in high resolution then save down... Cheers... Oh I should ask you wouldnt mind me using them in my own AAR (if I ever get round to starting one) I could make it myself but thought it would save time just editing yours (Im lazy haha)...
Ill try out the psd and report back, though it should work I believe.

Haha... Maybe so, but I can't bare to look at the language, bad memories with the Dutch. :p
Out of interest do you have somewhere you update on what you're working on, or like if your work is going to be published, etc...?
Like a blog I suppose... It's 1am as I am typing this so words aren't coming to my mind. xD

well Dutch for me is a strange language but when i look at a sentence in Dutch i see some similarities to English(only some) but when it's used in conversation or when there's lots of text (like in a Dutch book) i go to the nearest computer and play Mount and Blade:Warband

killer110: Dutch and English are indeed quite simular (although Dutch more looks like German, and English more looks like Frisian). No surprise, they are both western Germanic languages.

I've got good news and bad news.
Bad news: I had said before the weekend I would start playing again and working on the next chapter, but I hadn't had any time for that. So unfortunately there's not yet a new chapter. But now I really started.
Good news: The reason I hadn't had any time, was because I finally got all the permissions for the Floris Mod Pack, and worked around the clock to finish it as fast as possible. I made two downloads:
Floris Basic Mod Pack: This is just fourteen mods glued together into one. It should work on any warband version.
Floris Expanded Mod Pack: I also added Diplomacy 3.1.1 to this one, used the new troop tree from Magus Mod 1.7, gave new items to the troops, added those Floris King Logos, rebuilded the python file for Utrehd's Music Pack and, last but not least, I added Floris himself as npc. Yes, I've written all the dialogue for him. This is the actual pack I'm using myself. I only tested this on Warband 1.131, so no guarentee it works on older versions.
I hope you enjoy the packs.
