A Thirty Year War DLC Idea

It could be a third party DLC like Viking Conquest based on the gameplay of WFaS but with religion wich restrict you to one of two sides (protestant or catholic), artillery guns on battles and sieges (new artillery troops and gun shops), the feature to equip your troops (no matter if mercenary or not), the ability to create your own kingdome in middle europe (map is set in northern Germany 1618 with parts of denmark, poland, prussia, austria, spanish netherlands and united netherlands), varius troops wich fought in the Thirty Year War in this area.

Factions (the HRE didnt acted as one state in the Thirty Year War, it was religious and political splitted (a lot of troop trees))

Religions (red protestant, blue catholic)

I'd much rather a modding team tackled this than TW itself, or some random studio outsourced to do it. I have absolutely no faith that TW or such a studio would be willing or able to do this setting the justice it deserves and portray it with even a fraction of the complexity it requires.

I would prefer a DLC that enhances the game in its current time period, not play the same boring game but in a different time period.

The idea is nice but i don't want a DLC. My wish is that the base game is good, stable, moddable. All the rest to be done by modders.

DLC when and *if* the game has been out of EA and has been in a good state for at least another year of free content. Since we're basically getting old waiting for a decent experience.
But if that happens and when that happens... yeah, I'd say why not. Personally I'd prefer something fantasy, but I'd probably be interested in this one too.

Guys i never wrote TW should make the Thirty Year War DLC, i think modding groups would be able to handle something like this - a third party DLC (not from TW).
