A thank you to the developers

I am pretty sure in Turkey it actually isn't as well paid as you might think.

Naaaah, I'm sure they earn MILLIONS, don't you see how many MILLIONS of copy they sold?!

Joke aside l'm not thanking to CEO of TaleWorld or some PR boss or whatever. When l'm thanking l'm thanking to the low fellas from that company, the actual devs who are working hard to deliver a good game to us, who are working like many of us overtime, weekends maybe, listening and implementing our suggestion in the game. the "plant factories workers" of this game if you want.

BTW working in IT it's one of the most demanding and stressful jobs, so yeah, maybe they deserve some of our appreciation. We all work somewhere and no matter what you do, when somebody appreciates your job, it feels good, even if you are well paid for that and it's good for you and your morale, that's what l'm trying to say here. It's not a bad thing to appreciate someones work.

If you buy let's say a handmade sword, you pay money for that sword and you're telling the blacksmith your thanx and appreciations. Or better example, you're witness him wielding your badass sword, you guide him how would you like to have shape, size etc. And in that process you showing your gratitude for him, cuz you witnessing the hard job he's put in it "gee man, awesome work, your doing a good job" or " look man i want it more bigger or wider or whatever".

But if you stand next to him and constantly only complaining about bad thing he does like "it's too long, to short, to wide etc" he will never know how you really want the sword to look like.
And spreading some love is always a good thing and has only benefits!❤

I'm really enjoying the game. I'm trying not to get too hung up in the nuts and bolts thus far but I haven't got too much into Kingdoms just yet. Being EA I expect a lot to be broken and I'm pleasantly surprised thus far.

I'm enjoying the scenery and being immersed in a fantasy universe of days gone bye. I "take a walk around" as often as I can and just enjoy the landscape and scenery. I'm hoping to find some Easter eggs and hidden quests eventually via exploration when "taking a walk around" when other bigger fish as far as game development get fried.

With all of that said I will offer constructive criticism and feedback where or when I feel it's warranted.

I agree, Bannerlord is a great game despite bugs, performance issues and crashes. We lucky to have Taleworlds as developers, I know so many game developers who are lazy and often start working only when some reddit thread hits #1.(dota2 for example)

I'm not surprised this thread turned out his way considering the toxicity of this forum recently.
To clarify, you don't have to shower the devs with praise if you aren't satisfied with the game, everybody encourages you to post criticism and it's the only reason the game is in early access apart from maybe the money aspect. It's the way I've seen people demand certain features or foreseeing doom for the game they've probably played 100+ hours of that appalls me.
Just trust taleworld with this game and post your constructive criticism, but don't be d*cks about it.

They should be thanking us for beta testing their horribly broken incomplete game for free. We all basically paid $50 to work for them.

The OP and others cuckery is exactly why developers in general pull this crap on us all the time.
Why does it bother you so much that someone wants to thank the developers? How does it hurt you personally?
You do realize we're in the middle of a pandemic and people cope with it in different ways and if this game brings them joy right this second who are you to gatekeep? Seriously.

I spend my free time going around the stores, waiting for a person to buy something and say thanks to the salesperson. Then I strike, how dare he say thanks when he already paid. Little ****o get out of here.

The way I see it, this game has a soul. Which is more that can be said of most titles out there. Even with all its problems, lack of balance, missing features, you can tell that people actually invested themselves in this. It is rare to find something like this in a game nowadays. And there is nothing wrong with spreading around some positive vibes, we surely can all use some of that these days.

Now excuse me, gotta go inject Clorox wipes in my veins real quick (now should we be grateful for that I wonder...).

Ok, now take a moment, go back and read your post again. What good did writing that accomplish exactly?

Bwahahahha funniest comm so far! GG!

Honestly I wasn't even expecting this much when I heard the early access so thanks to the devs for a fun game and early access. I think if they keep good communication with the community and don't give up the passion for the game, this game and franchise has potential to be a lot more famous, maybe even the next Skyrim and Witcher or more than that.

It is funny how the two guys that came here complaining people were thanking the devs used the same argument.

Nobody forced you to buy, nobody misled you saying the game was complete, you were told what you were buying. Be accountable for your own decisions, grow up.

Early access is also for giving feedback during the development and having a say in which direction game will go. It is a good way for developers to stay connected with the players and understand what they really want. Also understanding what will work or won't work. So it is not only beta testing and bug hunting.

I can understand if the game is unplayable for someone and they feel like it has been way more buggy then they expected then they can be disappointed . In that case it would be understandable to refund and wait. I don't think people would judge, at least I won't.

Overall I don't think this is an issue that people should be having a big fight over. Just agree you have different viewpoints, expectations, game tastes etc. and move on. It is ok

I know, criticism is good, it helps the game, but complaining is toxic. And being nice and gratefull it's also a good thing, that's why l hate when somebody tries to look indifferent or tough every time somebody is being nice. That's just toxic for the community.
