Pellagus

Knight at Arms
When Pellagus captured Jelkala, he made it his capital and built a university. Those wise professors of learning were great and got straight to work in many fields of the emerging sciences. Their endeavours bore fruit and soon there were advances in engineering and medicine amongst others.

Time and the war moved on. Pellagus drove his armies north, pushing the Nords back along the coast, finally taking Sargoth. Being much closer to the front-line, he decided to make Sargoth his new capital. His advisors were summoned from Jelkala and Alyssa was awarded the city for her sterling work defending the Yalen Valley.
With Sargoth well defended and his advisors in place, Pellagus halted his advance and decided to tour his kingdom, visit his lords and vassals and collect a few taxes along the way.

When he reached Jelkala though, he was sad to see the University in a state of some disrepair. Students lolled drunkenly from doorways and classes were half empty. Pellagus was puzzled and a little angry. Why had this happened? Was his presence at Jelkala so vital that without him that university standards had fallen so fast? What could be done to remedy the situation?

It's no longer the capital and the hub of your country, the heart of your country. Without that, students and knowledge don't flow into it as much anymore - all of that is going into the new capital.

Could you actually enter the town by that extra entrance? Sweet!

What? You mean in Suno?

I took my infantry round the side and discovered I could walk right round.  I lined up my troops by the invisible door, then had my archers charge as I emerged inside Suno at the foot of the wall. It got a bit dicey when extra Swadians spawned but by then I'd met up with my archers and we liquidised them.
