I keep hearing about Belgian beer, but I don't think I ever tried one. Like... ever.
I'm pretty damn sure they don't even sell that over here in general. Excluding specialised places, which I don't go to.

Same here. In supermarkets I mainly see Heineken and Amstel and Hertog Jan and other Dutch beers.

The actual liquor stores have a bigger variety of beers with some more Belgians around. I've only actually been in one liquor store ever though so that's probably a bit of a generalisation.

They didn't have any Czech beers, as far as I know.

I was thinking of one specialised in beer, you find those every now and then in the bigger cities around here.

Ooit gehoord van 'draught'? En ale is ook een soort bier.

Draught is voor zo ver ik weet gewoon bier van de tap hoor, geen merk. Als ge ale als bier gaat beschouwen kunt ge even goed cider ook als bier beschouwen. Het is echt zeer verschillend van bier, smaak is ook enorm slecht meestal.

German friends of mine all seem to be familiar with Belgian beers. Duvel, Leffe and Hoegaarden seem to be common beers the all know. Czech only have good pilsner as far as I know.
