Hello in the begging early acess statement and statements before and after you stated that the 2nd half of ea will be content updates and if any dev can respond i would love to hear and if this is still the case

Are you talking about this statement?

And while there is definitely plenty of content for players to dive into and enjoy, we must be clear in reminding you that this is an Early Access release. There may be bugs and glitches, there will certainly be balancing issues, some features may be missing or currently disabled, and certain aspects of the game might not receive full-support until later down the line. You can expect to see reused scenes (our eventual aim is that each town and castle will have its own unique scene) as well as other types of placeholder content, such as voice lines, animations, quests, etc.

Which suggested that a lot of the content would not be worked on until a later stage of development.

Kinda im pretty sure i read a few more statements on callum and duh when replying to random threads but i was kinda mentioning that but that more or less has to do with map and if what they have stated is true we should see some juicy content soon

Well that statement was from their blog https://www.taleworlds.com/en/News/322 . Which does suggest we should be seeing a lot more over the next few months. @Callum has already confirmed that they are still on schedule to provide all that was promised, so it should be quite a few new updates over the coming months.

The content updates should be heavy, especially the ones with new scenes which I hope will be released eventually.

Callum said they will surely add anything that writes in the Steam page... but in 6-7 months? I don't think so

That depends as we don't know what they put in stasis as they worked on bugs and balancing. Other parts may be near completion. They just have not been working on them. It's one part of where I would like more transparency by TaleWorlds, so we have more idea of what they are currently working on and which parts are still in stasis.

I mean, we already have a pretty good idea what they're currently working on. They have been steadily hammering out the priority list they released in May (and are a majority of the way through it). The latest updates on this are the Early Access Update post and the two Development Update (video) blogs. Duh said when he finds time he will look into updating the original list of priorities, but it's not just a matter of writing whatever he wants.

I don't think they are willing to release a long term plan because discussions are still ongoing and things are subject to change, so they want to avoid making definitive statements about anything.

Yeah i think so too in general making a definitive statement about something then having a better idea for it would be kinda weird which why i think they dont do roadmaps everything is subject to change but putting yourself in confinement in an idea which might not turn out the right way or how you wanted it is bad also a roadmap usually incites a deadline and could lead to half assed features

I don't think so but there is a chance, imagine getting big new features on every update

Personally I think things have already been ramping up since the refactor. It looks like really good progress is being made. Hopefully TW can keep it up! and get us some sweet siege scenes (where all the siege eq. and pathing works as intended hopefully?), and get into more of these perk trees that haven't been touched yet. I can't wait for 1.5.2 to come and see what has been done. It has felt this the way the last couple patches, I'm excited! Whereas before there was so much to work on and fix, the patches seemed unimportant because while they were fixing things it seemed unlikely that your personal issues with the game would actually be resolved. I can feel it getting better and better with each update now, and this is why I don't get why people are complaining so much. TW is finally getting things done! That said, the next update isn't likely to resolve everything. It's not that fast, but it is better than before. If some attention is paid to even one of the siege scenes, I will be pretty happy. I really want to see that, and soon.

Oof i really can wait for 1.5.2 it either today tomorrow hopefully an yeah they said they have been working on siege ai in the eso gamescom stream if you missed that they said its hard to balance it to where both sides have equal chance and not be the fustercluck that was warband

isnt that kind of logical when you bug fix/refactor you cant release new content and since most of that is done

It is more common to do that before adding more content as it allows you to see new bugs easier and isolate them.
