A simple question

I'm playing Native and I have my own kingdom and everything. But I want features from diplomacy. How can I transfer my character with whole progress, army, face, kingdom, vassals... to diplomacy. Like monnikje did that in Me, Floris?

Hmmm, i think you should switch your savegames from native folder to diplomacy folder ( in 'my documents' )

then i reccommend... real easy... real fast..... you enable cheats.


you bring your denars up to waht they are for you on desired character.. Inventory ---- control and X

then... you can either go to character screen and do... control - C to level yourself up..

but then renown and relations are still unaffected.

so I would engage enemies how youve had them as your enemy --- bandits --- caravans --- specific kingdoms...

and Control - F4 (not sure if shift is required)

and take down alll those dudes by spamming that button --- until you are to level where you were originally at.


then you get your trainer to a decent level if you had it..... or your companions you can Control click on any city on the map and start them up with you already.

so essentially... all you have to do is... either cheat menu (control and tilde ~ ) type cheatmenu ----- and do infinite camp in take an action scenario.... or actually incorporate long distarnce movment.... in fact... now that im saying this... i think you can cheat take a castle... and base yourself that way.


ultimately --- its going to require battling all over again.... one way or another... but you can SEVERELY relieve yourself of starting over burden.

I do not recommend you to do what Rhaeloth told you, but - it's your choice.
If it's not working what i told you, then you should start from the begin, you can import/export you character from previous game ( only his atributtes, not his army, renown or fiefs), and start over again

but if you are talking about Bold savegame, then don't start over again, keep playin' without diplomacy

I TELL YOU IT IS THE SAME THING!!!! minus some stats of specific battle gain..

but you can essentially REPLICATE in cheat fashion exactly where you are...

boom. save game. loaded.

IT is simply a synthetic recreation of waht you already earned... in diplomacy

you fool it already exists. this is the means of copying over.

Yes, but some men don't like cheating.

But who i am to say that, i cheated a lot when i first played this game 

So, if you decide to cheat, press tilde button (bellow escape), and type : cheatmenu
Then you are able to do all cheats, example: - got o some town and conquer it instantly with cheats.

i dont even see how its cheating if you are recreating a save in the only manner you can.

I did that some time ago, and I don't actually remmember. I think game loaded properly, but when I chose a save game, game crashed...

Well the guys on the Diplo sub-forum might be in a better position to help then, but as far as I know Diplo should be able to load a Native savegame without any issue at all.  Providing the versions are compatible of course.
