A set of questions

Sergeant at Arms
Hello, I have the following questions:

The age-old question: How do I make an automatic gun? I'm asking this not because I'm too lazy to click-every-shot but because I don't want to break yet another mouse by overclicking (my current mouse is glitching already).

Is it possible to ride a mount backwards? That is, to sit backwards while the mount runs forward, as usual. If yes, how? Does it require modelling?

I want to make the shot bullets visible, like in Star Wars Conquest and Bear Force. What do I need to do for this? Do I have to add a glow shader of some sort to a particular projectile? If yes, then to which one?

Is there a way to add hunting? I added a new party that's supposedly animals, but it behaves like regular bandits. What I'm asking is: is there some kind of hunting/ animal code and osp?

Is there an osp tricorne that doesn't have a wig?

Is there an osp that adds datapads/ pocket computers, pills, futuristic stuff like that? I'm talking about items that can be correctly added to inventory, not regular scene props.

I downloaded the old Star Wars osp, and installed it. When I pull out a lightsaber, I always get a shader error, and the saber blades look dull. How do I fix this?

Can I change the mount animation to something more fluid like "hovering" instead "galloping horse" without messing with modelling?

I want to add a few skin variants to the flintlock pistol. The pistol's skin is part of a texture that also has the skins for other items, so whenever I copy the said texture, edit it, and assign it to a new (copied) flintlock mesh, the skin is messed up. How do I make the mesh only read the edited pistol skin on the new texture instead of the whole texture? (sorry, English isn't my native language, so if something isn't clear, I can clarify individually)

May I have a tutorial for character creation menus? I'm working on a sci-fi mod, and I want to add several new races. The overwiew is: There's a planet rich in resources, there is a race of native humanoids, and there are several alien races, each coming to the planet for their own reasons. They've set up enclaves and/ or colonies. There's also a lone human spaceship-wreck survivor (option for player character) that spawns at a random location (with custom scene) each new game. I want to modify the character creation menu to have the following "tree":
a) Planetary origin - Two options: native, alien;
b) Option 1 (native) - Male/ Female - Standard character creation - Spawn in one of the vanilla towns (standard gamestart spawns);
    Option 2 (alien) - Several race options (race 1/2/3/etc.) - Male/ Female - Standard character creation - Spawn at a particular town (race dependent).
    Option 2 (specifically for Human) - Male/ Female - Standard character creation - Spawn at crash-site (random location on world map)

Where do I go about selecting the player kingdom's culture in-game? In SWC there's this option in the camp menu.
Um, I think there was something more, but I forgot it at the moment. :iamamoron:
Thank you. :smile:

1. Here is an OSP script: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,144557.0.html

Here are a couple of other solutions and discussions on the subject:
https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,147490.msg3551840.html (another autofire script)
https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,218883.msg5238035.html (needs WSE)
https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,114371.0.html (discussion and code snippets)
https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,331444.0.html (The Reckoning - OSP modern day mod with released module sys)

https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,375760.msg8953320.html#msg8953320 (Bear Force Two Source code OSP - also includes autofire for mulitplayer, should be adaptabler to single player)

4. Here is a hunting OSP:
https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,362996.msg8711083.html#msg8711083

Brytenwalda 1.41 is also OSP and has hunting as feature included.

5. Shredzorz AoFI mod is OSP and has tricornes without wig:
http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,152698.0.html

6. I think I remember some modern items like that, but even scene props are easily converted to items. Try The Reckoning again for stuff like that.

9. That should not be happening, if you copied the mesh and the texture there should be no problems. Are you sure you copied everything properly? Have you used the correct names? Look also at the material section in open brf.

10. Look at the code of viking conquest. It has some great dieas which might help you. You can even use it with proper credits given to the team.

I hope that helps.

Thanks a bunch! This should do nicely for now. :smile:
Checked the Reckoning's stuff. The closest thing to a computer is a heart monitor prop, but as an inventory item, it shows up turned backward (you can see the back side of the monitor, not the monitor itself). Is there a simple way of turning it around without resorting to Blender?
