I decided to buy Warband with Napoleonic Wars dlc, but I've a question. Of course I'll try to apply to a regiment, but is entirely necessary to use TeamSpeak and have microphone to play in organized events with regiments? It doesn't matter if you don't use TS, and communicate only IG?

Yes, because Teamspeak is how Officers give their commands to the line, a microphone is probably not necessary but needed if you want to lead the line.
