Following the forums on a regular basis, I can only ask myself one thing.
Is TaleWorlds satisfied with how the game is right now?
Or are you guys not really happy with it?
What are systems that you guys thougt would work better and get accepted by the community with more open arms than they actually did? And what systems came out better than planned?
Are any developer AMA's planned for the near future?
Do the developers follow the suggestions thread?
Are any of the suggestions planned to be implemented into the game? (This one in particular because you guys seem to stay on your track)
@Callum

+1 on this, I think community really need to know thoughts of taleworlds about the future of this game, so we know what to expect.

I'm not so sure what kind of answer you're expecting on your first two questions.....

May I add:
Did you guys play Warband SP?
For how long?
Are you playing Bannerlord?

An honest one. It may be that they are not happy with how it is at the moment but they see potential
And to see how criticizing they are to themself. As we all know the best and worst critic of any artist is the artist himself

A formal apology from callum or another high-up would go a long way. Might even give back some hope.

Off course they're not happy with it, otherwise they would have released it wouldn't they? These guys are experiencing troubles, that's obvious otherwise development wouldn't be this long. This brings me to my point : Why are people like you distracting them from what they're supposed to do with the same type of questions and giving them a hard time?

These questions are probably the right questions. My guess is that they don't play it or at least not as much as we "fanatic" players.
It's really just a guess but in one thread it was discussed that it is not really tolerated in that culture (adults to play videogames). I cannot comment if this is true but it would explain the current state. The only source where they can get some real feedback is the player-base. However it does not transfer the passion which is needed for enthusiasm...

You dont make any sense at all.
I can be hally with the progress of something without saying it is finished.
How am i giving them a hard time by asking then questions on the forum for the very game that the questions are about?
I have the feeling its because of people like you that so many games lately have been absolutely washed down. You just take everything as it comes

That's probably true, most professional footballers actually hate the game and never went near the hideous and much frowned upon sport in their youth.

Another completely and utterly pointless thread. If your bored and frustrated go here Scream into the Void. I promise you it's just as productive.

Could be possible indeed, I don't use the products I make (at least not as much as my clients), yet I give them the maximum quality as i fully understand their needs, I kind of listen to them:wink:
AAAhhhhhh the beauties of the Gaming Industry, all is forgiven...almost all is forgotten.

Another completely useless answer to a valid thread.

Maybe TW should just add a new forum section where people are allowed to complain and critizse the game without the white knights coming in?

Then you have your happy world where everybody loves the game and we have our place where we can discuss the things that don´t work, are missing or that we just don´t like at all?

Win/Win!

I agree, what these people don't realize is that the more you critic a game, the more you love it and want it better.
Yesmen have always been catastrophic for both Companies AND governments.

I own Conan Exiles, a true rip-off in my opinion, I don't write anymore on those forums, I just could not care less about that game....why am I here every day? Because I am a junkie for this Title and I don't want the message of said "yesmen" to pass....or very soon I better switch to gardening as hobby.

I don't get why people here think I try to hate on the game with this thread.
I legit just want their own opinion about their product. Questions like that are common in every business.
Questions like that maybe make them think about what they do more.
And i am sure everyone who has worked in their life knows the feeling that sometimes you do stuff just because you are told to do so but never put any own thoughts in it. Nothing shameful about that but rarely comes anything good out of it from that.

For myself:
Yes
Around 3k hours.
Only MP.

Do the developers follow the suggestions thread?

If I talk for myself, I do follow MP side.
Next patch will answer this i think.

Ah, MP, never played 1 minute of MP, not the hack and slash kind of guy, if I want that, there are more specialized similar games that do it better apparently.
When I say "Warband" i mean SP modded with the most popular overhauls, what I hoped would have been the benchmark for BL
So yeah, my questions are still open:smile:

My first 2 answers are for Warband SP. I did play it around 3k hours. I played MP only around 50 hours and that is to check different mods (Full Invasion 2 was the best by the way).

Uh, sorry I misunderstood, it wasn't very clear.

Off course you may be not in position to answer, but I would like to know from somebody who can, why some features/mechanics that made WB so immersive and replayable (I have 4K hours), were not even put there in BL?
You (TW) did not even have to polish them out as it's EA, but didn't you think gamers would have expected that to be present in BL from the get-go?

Man, you have 3K hours, don't answer me to this, but would you be able to repeat that with BL? Not without immersion and chances to RP, too much is in the hands of RNG to achieve that.

so many better arguments to have with a dev about the state of the game... why don't you try asking a real question ste636 while you have his attention

I have a strong feeling some of the features you are referring to are from mods not vanilla native.. from my mind the only things I can think of that bannerlord is missing are claimants (coming with Bannerlord rebellion mechanics), courting (clearly not properly fleshed out yet) and then a couple of minor things such as books (which were really just a cumbersome mechanic that needed to be dropped), and I guess being ambushed at nigght in the back alley (replaced by the new criminal game aspects)

What features are you saying you are missing? I have often believed that peoples memories of warband are tainted by the 100s of mods they have no doubt played. Functionally 99% of warband SP is already in the game (with more besides).
