A question for modders, changing peopleplace names etc'

Hello

Had anyone succeeded in doing the above?
If yes, how?
I'll like a small guide

Btw, a harder question, had anyone succeeded in altering dialogue options?
not just the text but entirely altering the dialogue...

To change people's names you edit troops.txt. Just change "borcha" to "joe" or whatever. Make sure that you replace any spaces with underscores so "joe smith" would be "joe_smith". When you start a new game, that change will be used.

For places, change towns.txt.

Modifying or adding conversation is much more difficult. You'll want to look at the "Attackable Peasants" thread.

it's easy, just find the right module .txt file. I'm joking, I am not seriously replying to this 4 year old thread.
