It's good that it looks at least slightly different IMO since it's really a form button and serves a different function than the other ones which are in fact standard (if prettified) hyperlinks.
Anyway, the color difference is only minor, black versus a very dark brick red.

EDIT: besides, I don't feel like messing with it further at the moment. Similarly I could in fact change all form controls in the forums to also match the theme, but I don't feel like doing that either.

Calandale: try doing a full refresh and clear out your browser cache if necessary. It sounds like your browser has incorrectly cached the CSS file and isn't checking to see that it has changed.
