A Mod with Fewer Units

I've been playing a few of the Mods recently, but it seems to me that almost all of them focus on even bigger battles then in vanilla M&B. That's not bad per se but my CPU is struggling with all the units so I was wondering if there was a mod that focused on fewer units in battles instead of more? Thanks.

Yes I understand you can decrease the battle size but having to fight 10 separate battles every time two armies engage is a little annoying so I was just wondering if there were mods with less units than vanilla.

you can decrease the battle sizer then use magelords tweak to increase reinforcement waves so it will just send out as many reinforcements as you put so youll have one big battle but with less people at a time. it gets real epic playing a battle with a lot of troops(not all in at once) and you're fighting at the enemy spawn point.

Off the top of my head, 1866 and Gangs of Glasgow for the current version, although I can think of quite a few from older ones.

You might want to look into mods that are less battle focused or include a lot more side quests like Custom Settlements, Astorionar Adventure or The Wedding Dance.

If none of those work out for you, you can try using the Troop Editor to modify the party sizes to something smaller and more manageable, although that'll throw out the game balance quite a bit.

I'm also interested in a mod that has smaller sized battles. Never liked how they were split up when reducing the battle size. It's not such a silly request, even with a high end comp--it could let you use polished landscapes or the like to better effect.
