A mission

Early in the game you can get a mission; supply 5 lame horses.... ... ... and he says heck steal them if you want, an then comes the question, IS it possible to steal horses, in that case, How??

You can't really steal horses, you can get them as loot after winning battles though.

As it is there aren't any horses to steal. That would be stealable, (you can't steal horses from calvarymen or other soldiers, they keep a good watch on htem).
