Yes I'm back and i have risen the dead A medieval adventure is back and i have learnt a lot from last time even though i never finished it due to computer problems. The new comments start on pg 13. For those not familiar with this mod it was i think the second no map mod, Hero & Blade being the first (that i know of).
With the last one i only released a demo before my computer was wiped this time i plan to back up everything.

Must read...
1) In the second scene you will meet Oubliette he is one of the main characters and he wrote the story for this mod, He must not die if he does you have no story.

2) When you enter the celler under the tavern you will get an error message, just click ignore untill it goes away.

3)this is just a demo, proof of my concept, so it is lacking a lot of content. Towns have no life and it is quite dull but still fun.

4) i know about the grammar and spelling errors so please dont point them out to me.

Ok now thats out of the way i can tell you whats included in the Demo.
1) 13 scenes to travil through
2) about 12 people to kill
3)one side quest  :cry:
4) all new textures
5)all new sounds
6)a lot more blood, i change the blood multiplyer to 10
7)you recive and deal more damage than in Native.
 
but you never know if it's good Miclee you never know. BTW I think I would like to try this out sounds very intresting can't wait to try it :smile:
 
Heh, sound interesting. Maybe this will look like thief more than Oblivion since oblivion got a HUGE map.
 
I actually made a no map mod for .808, which was almost identical to what you describe here, but with a different backstory. (was a greedy bastard and never released it though). Triggering the battles is the easiest of all issues to overcome. What was hard was making time pass in between scenes. It was great fun making scenes of open countryside and mountain ranges which took several minutes to cross even on a horse.

Of course, such can be straining on the graphics, but I found that it was quite worth turning all settings down in order to walk out of Zendar and actually see the river Zendar stretching out to the horizon.
 
Interesting idea.And with the new LoD options, hopefully the strain on ancient computers like mine will be a bit less..

cool idea dude but since theres no map do scenes just load up for the next level in the game?
and will you still travel not on the map but in the world like gothic?

Since each passage is a menu item, make that item in the menu force you to rest for several hours and try again, based on a variable which is reset every time you enter a scene.
Does that make any sense?
