Can it be considered a bug to correct the birth of too many heirs?

And also happens to you to find your heroes stuck on mountains or hills without being able to move?

Currently, with 1.6.3, I've found its hard to get wife pregnant after about age 22. I think it used to be age 25 that it became a very small fertility percentage. Not really a problem, just an observation. Also, my children have always seemed to grow normally. But 17 years of growing time before they are 'useable' is a long time in game. I'm curious whether the original posters had actual problems with babies not growing or were just impatient, or were just referring to the picture. I think Encyclopedia pictures update at a younger age than the clan page.

Thanks for the response. This issue has been forwarded to our developers and a solution is currently being worked on. We will do our best to fix it as soon as possible with new patches to be released.

The fertility of age at 22-25 is not effected much (13% at eighteen), but if the woman has had a child it goes down more and is noticeably harder for the second. Save and wait ten days in a fief with spouse (or clan couples), then re-load and try again to cut down on how much campaign time you spend.

I don't reload unless I crash. But I have 3 eligible spouses (Mine, Nathanos', & Phasos') who had a total of 9 children (5, 3, & 1) prior to age 22, but none after that. I've probably tried at least 4 or 5 10-day periods each without success between the ages of 22 and 25. I assume part of it is just bad luck, but it also seems like after 22 its now as hard as it used to be after 25.

Interestingly, Phasos' wife, Yesum, had just one child prior to age 22 & none from 22-25. But she got pregnant again at age 25 and 27. This certainly supports the comment you made about chances decreasing not only with age, but with the number of children the wife has had. Fortunately, with the war times being more reasonable the last few updates its easier to spend a bit of down time in a town/castle.

Further comment (sorry). My wife Itaria just got pregnant at age 34, this will be her 6th (most I've had from 1 spouse & the oldest I've had a spouse get pregnant). Last pregnancy (the twins) was age 25.

I think either works. My wife was in my party this last time when she got pregnant. We were recovering from a battle. But I believe at least a couple of the prior times she was governess of the town I was visiting (waiting) in. I have had wives get pregnant previously while both waiting for deserters quest and waiting until nightfall to attack a hideout. I've also had Nathanos' wife get pregnant before when he was leading a party and visiting the town his wife was in, even when I wasn't in that town.
