The lord of Rivacheg told me to get 13 steppe horses, and how the **** can i do that:P, its only 12 slots in inventoy

I dont think the lord like me

You can increase your inventory size by puting points into the inventory management skill. But some mission are nearly impossible early in the game, mainly due to financial reasons. "Bring you 8 chargers while i'm level 6!?!? Sure count...i'll get right on that one..."

Nope. Most I've gotten on the supply quest is 14, and those were saddle horses. I did get 10 warhorses once, though.

I just give up on any town that gives me a quest I don't want to finish, such as ones that require me to spend additional points in specific skills. It seems the game won't give you more than one quest of the same type at once through, so if you hate 'bring me 10 widgets' quests, just ignore them and move on to the next town until you stop getting quest types you don't like. There are definitely enough towns, so far I think I only have armor, horses, and weapons in my quest log which I never intend to complete.

Try filling your horse slot with a steppe horse too, if that doesn't work put a point into your inventory management skill.

I do the same thing, but I take it one step further. When I play swadians, I will intentionally take quests in Tihr before anywhere else. I will complete whatever quests I am given there until I get one I don't like (e.g. deliver 14 steppe horses). Like Vachir, I never complete the quest and by having it in my quest log, I don't receive it from anyone else. Since the quest is given at Tihr, I never have to go back there, since it is sooo out of the way!

I prefer the method of saving the game just before I speak to a count to get a quest, then quitting and reloading if I don't wanna do that mission! :P

Naughty? Probably ... But at least I don't get a list of quests that I have no intention of completing!

I personally like the "get me (x) of this" or "capture (x) of this" because they have no time limit, unlike most of the other quests.

If you know what you're doing, you can run around the map, do merchant escorts, do "capture noble" or "kill raiders" and slowly build up the stuff you need in the meanwhile...this is, or course, as a merchant...so you alreay have a high Inventory to start with

And you can get a nice bundle of gold if you get the lame/bent/rusty/swayback/etc. varieties for reduced cost
