So i plan on getting a new pc and i want something that will run this mod at max capacity. A 400 battlesize batlle sounds awesome... So if anyone had succes with their config or have sugggestion on which pc i should buy i want to hear it. I want a laptop btw, I never got one before so i have no idea which one is good.

This one can play on medium XD

Depends what else you want to play and wether you´re a casual player or serious one and how you plan to use your laptop. For gameing purposes, desktops are the way to go. If you plan to use it for mainly work issues and the occasional game a laptop may suit as well.

Mount and Blade isn´t that resource heavy so bascially any new up to date laptop should allow you to run it smoothly. Key concern is usually the graphics card and sound card as both have the habit to be onboard solutions for laptops.

Just check out a few you can afford to purchase and compare them with each other on www.notebookcheck.net and pick the best solution.
If money isn´t an issue, alienware runs the true monsters, but if you purchase one of those you may as well get a desktop as heat/cooling is far easier in a larger case. As is cleaning out the filthy dust. Plus a standard PC is usually cheaper/superior to an equal priced laptop.

Just get a larger backpack and spend a few hours at the gym so you can carry around a homemade portable power supply without problems and you´re fine

Gaming laptops:  Over priced, power hungry and over priced, did I mention they cost a lot more then they should because of the niche market they serve?  If you do insist on buying one though, gateway has actually been making a pretty solid line of them which I have had experience with and can back.  Either way for those requirements in your build the video card should be either the most expensive or second most to the CPU in your parts list, the rest is almost trivial.

yea well I needed a laptop for work and also need an upgrade for gaming so I tought I would get both at the same time. I think alot of ram and memory on the video card would be a good thing to look for to run this game fine because of the whole lot of texture and stuff.

a video card's ram is not a very good way to determine its abilities, about the only true way to figure out how good one is to either just know the general naming conventions that ATI & Nvidia use or to consult bench mark articles from sites like tom's hardware or guru3d.  In the case of your situation where you want to be able to have 400ish units on screen at once it's also going to take a decent amount of CPU horsepower to drive the AI behind them all doing their thing in addition to drawing them.

The other thing going against you for this situation is powerful GPUs and CPUs create a lot of heat which is the direct enemy of laptops so you simply cannot have both in the same machine.  Beyond that though what you're genuinely looking for in a laptop that's at least dualcore and running at 2.4ghz with 3/4gb of ram and the most powerful video card according to benchmark articles you can afford.  I stress again:  consult benchmark articles about laptop video cards.

looks good, that video card Radeon HD 5870  is apparently the best one on the market at the moment for laptop.

I must recommend this site (I always buy from them):
http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/

Go through the different configurators here:
http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/LandingPages/MegaSpecial/christmas/

(Before Thanksgiving they had unbeatable prices for the components. Hopefully they'll soon have those kinds of deals again. In any case, you'll be hard pressed to find better bang for the buck elsewhere).

They have good laptops too (but not that configurable).

Like the above mentioned, just focus of getting the best value of Graphics card you can find..think about price/performance in order to get the best value for you

I recently got this.
I'm playing PoP at 250 battlesize with medium-high settings on Warband at the moment with no lagging at all. This is also while running itunes and I've been installing a lot Asus Live updates too. Machine stays at a pretty consistent temperature even in-game and my only qualm is its horrendously short battery life. But that's to be expected on a portable desktop.

If you can afford this: http://www.alienware.com/ then MB should make no problems with the beast machine. This are as far as I know the top of the line gaming comps.

Happy shopping!

Oh and BTW - if you are buying a comp to play M&B then avoid ATI graphic cards. Lots of people have problems playing MB with ATI. I never experienced a single problem with my nvidia card.
