A few questions

Edit: I have put both questions in a spoiler because they contain information that some people might consider a spoiler.
1: I have seen that Koningur Valdis carries a Koningur war axe which is very awesome (I have picked it up in battle after I killed him and fought with it). Is it possible to get it as loot? And what are the stats of this axe?

2: I have killed the three seers' army by running them into 2 jatu armies. Will they be able to respawn if killed by jatu?
And I did this because I figured I woudn't get a qualis gem because their are no capturable characters in the army. Is it true that you aren't able to get a qualis gem from the three seers' army?

3: Will polished landscapes be in the warband port?

Thanks in advance for answering these questions.

1. Each king has a unique weapon, and all should be lootable - but I'm not aware of any report that someone actually looted any of these, it's down to the Gods of Random Loot.
2. Yes. Yes.
3. No, but you can likely install it on top of POP.

Further on point 1. I have fought kings several times, over several games, and never looted one of these weapons. I'd say that to have the best chance of looting it, you'd need to go against their army with just you and companions, and win against rediculous odds, and you still might not get it. But that is probably your best chance.

The way looting works is still something of a mystery to me, even after reading numerous threads about it. This is what I know to help:

1. I know looting skill is important.
2. Being outnumbered by a lot yields better loot.
3. I've been told lower numbers of companions yields better loot.

On point 3, I really hate that. The loot is good for companions, but having companions makes the loot worse? Sort of a catch-22, really. Anyhow, good luck.

A companion counts thrice as much as a regular soldier.
Apart from that you´ll usually get the best looting results if your army is of inferior quality and slightly lower or higher numbers. 80-120% the enemy party size will give you the best results.

Quality´s the key though. If you sack a Treasure Company of 25 various knights early ingame with 3 companions and 25 various tier 1-3 troopers you´ll gain a halfton and a brick of useful gear (assuming you play the only feasible starting choice, the looter 9 guy). If you do the same with your companions only, you´ll get far less as you´re on the far sides of the bellcurve.

Still, the looting skill is rather bugged than a mystery. Just apply the basic rule of warfare: If in doubt, kill them all. You´ll finally get what you crave fore and if nothing else helps, just raise the availability/make it merchandise of the item using the itemeditor and it will show up far more often in merchant shops.

It's really not that complicated:
Loot probability = 3*(party_looting_skill+10)/8 *10/party_shares *player_party_contribution%
party_shares = Sum of all shares: player gets 10, companions 3, troops 1
player_party_contribution% = player party strength as % of total allied strength (100 in battles with no allies)

So if Kassim is the party's lead looter with skill 6 (and you don't have any), and your party has 4 companions and 78 regular troops, fighting with no allies gives you:
party_shares = 10+3*4+1*78 = 100
Loot probability = 3*(6+10)/8 *10/100 *100 = 60
I don't know how this number translates to actual troop item drops, but the higher the better.

So, to maximize your loot:
- Get your party looting skill up
- Remove low-level troops from your party that you don't need for a particular looting spree against kings, Noldor and other loot-rich parties, gather a small, but elite party
- Don't fight with allies

yeah thats why I'd like to be able to garrison them in a castle when loot hunting...

Well, go out loot hunting with your companions only and attack thrice to four times your actual size armies of approbiate quality and loot will once again be decent.

OR just use less of them.

Thanks for all the answers.
One more question: Is it possible to have multiple knighthood orders in various castles/cities? Just having them, not joining them.

Of course it is. I'm a member of Silvermists and have Lady Valkyries and 2 Knights of the Dawn chapters (got one when captured Valonbray and founded one after capturing last Fierdsvain castle).

You can have one Knighthood Chapter per castle/town you personally own. If you give it away, you give the order away too. It´s knights will sporadically show up in the city/town garrison, the lords shouldn´t acquire order knights as reinforcement.

If you want to erect a different chapter house in a castle/town where you already got an errect one, you´ll have to demolish it before you´re allowed to build a new one. Therefore, plan wisely and keep track of your orders.

Usually, one or two is sufficient. I once pimped up Knights of the Falcon in 2.05 to their fullest and it was not funny at all seeing them slaughtering anything and almost running as fast in full armor than me riding my Noldor Spirit Horse.

Keep in mind that there´s a high chance certain orders are already built in some specifically towns which you´ll acquire once you conquer them for your own kingdom.

Hi
I'd also like to ask some questions. One is there an area limitation to the location of your village patrols? I found an adelen sheriff patrol(I reinforce my village patrol with odd troops that I rescue and this one is about 80 with some mid to high lvl troops) fighting angry outcasts next to Torbah. Another slightly technical question is what program do you use to view the item models?

By limitation of location do you mean the range at which they will travel?  They will usually stay within the immediate surrounding area of their village unless chased off by a bigger party.  Or as I believe in your case, if the village patrol has a better party they will start feeling cocky and chase groups rather far, same goes for the Loyal Knights.  Use these two groups wisely as they make great watchdogs.

To view the models you can use this handy program http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,72279.0.html

It happened the same to me in 3.0 and it took most of the fun out.
Fortunately 3.1 has taken care of that issue and every time you upgrade an order, costs twice the previous upgrade. It is practically impossible to fully upgrade. In my current game my eventides are 39 str, 30 agi, upgrading to 41, 32 will require 1,280,000 dinars

I never got a king drop, however the dire axe carried by demons has even better stats than Koningur war axe, and since there are several demons in an army, you have better chances to get one.
I got one that I gave to siggy, and he shines with it

Hi

I have another question. this time regarding  unique spawns. Do they have positive/negative relations with each other? I was kiting the dread legion to fight the 2 heretic armies that spawned near marleons(long kite that, with some close calls). When I got there 1 heretic army was a sarleon lord with a less than 100 army. I was, by the time dragging both the dread legion and the other heretic army. Then they all jumped on the poor lord. I left figuring that after the party they would attack each other( the heretics and the dread legion I mean) but later when I went back they had all dispersed. Did they gain good relations with each other?

The Dread legion is a part of the HEretic subfaction - that is why they didn't fight each other. Kite them into snake, jatu, mystmountain or noldor spawns.

They are? Coulda sworn they were snake cult oh well hard work down the drain. Well gonna keep trying, there's a couple of jatu armies knocking about :D
Nope they are definitely snake cult. And they just jumped on another lord this time Empire and one of the Heretic army helped them again... hmm positive relations with each other?

actually SXIII is wrong
dread legion is snake cult faction
(eyegrim the devourer is heretic)

Game AI calculates the total strenght of the army/party in order to decide what to do next.
If army A is weaker they will flee, if army B is stronger they will follow, if both army A and B are around the same strenght (which i think is calculated by a total sum of levels of units in the army) they will neither attack or flee - and just do the usual "patrolling"
On top of that each entity on the map is also described by their courage and aggresiveness attributes (which both dread legion and heretic army has the same)

Maybe that caused why those two armies didn't engage each other
I'm sure that as soon as either of them sustain more casualties than the other in a fight with 3rd party their "truce" will be no more
