Hey Computica! Great work with the new map, finally got myself a new laptop which can run your mod properly.

I started the game as villanes (spelling?) and am currently around level 20. In 150 something days. (yes am a slow player)

I don't know if these Bugs are reported/known or not, I did look trough top threads (and I think that Blacksmith bug is reported) but I found/saw no bugs thread. Sorry if I missed it.

Bug list

Banks Financial Info increases intresses amount
What: Clicking on "View Financial Info" in bank will increase the bank intrest, each click would be like new income.
How to reproduce: Invest 10k to bank. Click on view financial info. Click Okay, Click view financial info (previous investments+new intresses, repeat. Proof:

Edit: it's just the counter that increases, the real invested amount does not and you get proper intresses not the ones shown.

Blacksmith Upgrades - strength
What: Allows to upgrade and carry weapons ignoring strength rating
How to reproduce:  Upgrade a weapon in blacksmith while having 12 str.

Blacksmith Upgrades: Some things can't be upgraded
What: Read title
How to reproduce: Large bags of arrows, some bows some swords can't be upgraded.
No proof.

An oddity with town 'Kill roaming band of looters mission' (multiple small groups)
What: Town elder can give you task to kill looters and offers to pay for each group, unlike kill certain large group of bandits (single group), in this mission you need to kill several small groups, however, it is nearly impossible to hunt down all groups, because they move fast and if AI kills them, they do not count as "killed" and quest will fail in 30 days (because these looters do not count as "killed" , giving -5 relations with town. If AI kills a single group of bandits (in Kill single group of bandits (instead of multiple groups) mission) on it's own then at least quest fails but you don't get -5 relations with the town. The looter groups can go REALY far from the starting town (maybe make them stick near the town? Beacuse I found one looter group (on random)had traveled from Foxbog, Foxtrout, Foxhen? Something clever with "fox" in it.?) (town center of villanees land) far to the Imperial lands (the bright red faction)... That's basically half way over the map. They were not chased by anyone...
How to reproduce: Get the quest from town elder.

Kill roaming band of looters misson (single looter group)
What: If AI engages quest target, then Quest fails even if you aid wiping out the Target (participate in battle).
How to reproduce:  Let AI wipe out/Aid AI in wiping out quest target
NB! Quest Does work properly if you are the first party attacking the quest target, but if you aid an AI in battle, it fails to register

Bug with 'Loan a companion' mission; part I
What: You companion returns on its own. Quest does not fail but it's odd. ALSO you get realy low amount of XP (140 something, when herding/escort/find-bandits who attack under-cover-of-night missions give 1k or more xp.) edit: To get XP you need to return to quest giver (WHY? I already have my hero back in my unit!). I'm pretty sure that quest giver did not "die" or "get captured" - he was the marshall...
How to reproduce: Get the mission, send companion on mission, check "companion missions" in "reports" menu

Bug with 'Loan a companion' mission; part II OR Bug with max amount of troops
What: Had a phantom member in my party. A unit which did not exist seems to be in my party. I had the ("P" button menu showing 118/118 troops (Companions and myself at full health), but in Map when hovering over my party I only had 117 (total, including myself) members in my party. I think it is related to the "Loan a Companion mission". This happened AFTER my companion returned to my party and I finished the quest.
How to reproduce: Do loan a companion mission, see that your max party and your real party numbers are off by one. That's my guess at least. I think it's fixed when companions go down in battle and then max party size is recalculated (I think, have not had time to test it)

Typo/error in Village menu
What: In Village Elder menu you can ask 'What improvements does this TOWN have'.
How to reproduce: Go to village elder, ask about buildings

Right of rule gain - probably a feature?
What: I gain right of/to? rule whenever a Peace deal is made. Am I supposed to?
How to reproduce: Join a faction? Have AI peace out a war.

Advisor with a village
What: You can recruit advisor (popup offers you to recruit an advisor to your kingdom/fiefdom even if you only have a single village and NO castles/towns where your "advisor" could be located.
How to reproduce: Join a kingdom, get a fiew
Did not know that advisor/court can spawn in village.

Bald women
What: WTF. Bald. BALD?!? BALD??? WHY U NO HAVE HAIR?!?!  :evil:


Free XP ?
What: I randomly get 299 999 XP, sometimes twice on the same day. This always happens around 16 o'clock but not every day (twice a week?).
When it does, I usually advance 1-2 levels. I'm a king.

Oddities in Buildings that train units

What: Castle is on "train footmen" option. Some units are trained in STABLES into footmen or even into archers - into units that have no upgrade paths to "horsemen" path.

Fighting ... Myself?
What: WHO IS THIS PRETENDER ? (That's my main characters name)

Once I joined the battle, he challenged me to a duel.

I pressed Y on first time so one of my Chiefs started firing at him ... me ... that thing? My pretender did not move from a spot and before I could reach him, battle was over (altho he still was semi-full health... as one arrow won't kill me/him. The chief who he was dueling with continued firing arrows even tho battle was won.

The battle result showed no casualties and there were no runaways from battle. I did get the farmer and sword-sisters-to-be as loot tho. No items.

It seems I'm winning most battles I participate in ALONE :/ This is me again, in a different place. Like da faq?

These are prisoners that I freed from myself. Impossible that I could win against such enemies in autocalc outcalc cus It knocked them out. (I have no blunt weapons).

This is getting out of hand ... Every time I defeat myself, I respawn as deserter (part of outlaws faction). Maybe there's more than 2 of me, but I still see deserters with 50+ troops (and no me) running around...
I've seen this to happen in freelancer aswell, but ONLY in Tournaments, in which case, My copy/dual does not move from the spot, just like this one did not. But still counts as an enemy.

The Constable
What:
1) If you sell prisoners via him, you get 50 denars per head - does not matter if recruit or knight rank.
2) Option of sending all prisoners from party to dungeons does not work.

Suggestions
1) Incorporate 'Freelancer' mod - that you can join lords armies and gain ranks + better equipment.
2) Add an option to town menu where you could see THE BENEFITS that the buildings in towns/villages give. (this is good for new players like me - who get a fief that already has some things built).
3) Add a shield bash option?
4) Add a kill count after battle?

Questions
What is 'personal faith' for? What is world faith for? What do they do? (adding a info in game concepts menu ("Q"uest Menu -> game concepts would help)

Edit: Also the new faction, Zarrikanian sultanate dominates more than 1/4th of the map, while the Imperial faction, who, I think, is supposed to be the strongest is owned by everyone :/
Edit2: Your "download thread" title made me think that I can ONLY download french version from there and made me look for an english version download thread...
Edit3: Also, do I need the latest patch if I downloaded the full version 1.9something from the thread?

With regard to the "Advisor with a village" section, do you mean a Chancellor? If so, then he can also appear in a village.

Regarding your first Edit, I think that's just your game; in mine the Imperial Legion do just fine, and the Zerrikanians have the 4th highest amount of votes for 'weakest faction here: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,159970.0.html

I agree with your Edit2; it took me a while to work it out, too, and could potentially put people off downloading the mod if they can't be bothered to find it.

Yes, I think I do mean Chancellor - the first advisor offered by game., Did not know that they can be in village, thanks for this info!

I think the Chancellor appears in any and all of your fiefs whenever you visit them.

Whats your problem with bald women? They are sexy.
Your suggestions are great, especially the freelancer mod. It would be better, if the player were forced to play a bit longer before he becomes a king, and this would help. I just dont like that i can capture a town/castle in the first week, and proclaim myself as a king.

Well, this mode is called sword of damocles for a reason :lol:
But when you get defeated in the beginning, this can seriously help you. In freelancer mod, I once spawned into group of seariders when started a new game. They took my horse and my furs, leaving me on foot with no money to start trading route (buy cheap salt from Curaw, sell it in Sargoth, buy linen (green bushels) from sargoth, sell them in Curaw) with...

Northen Wolf, your most likely playing an old version of SOD. Can you send me your rgl_log.txt file. The free exp bug is fixed in the latest version of the game.

EDIT:
Aye, you've run into many of the old bugs. Your eithier playing on an old save or don't have the latest release.

As far as I know, this is deliberate; he acts as Ramun, the slave trader back on Concacon in Tihr would behave by selling every prisoner as a slave, rather than by ransoming them.

I'd argue that "Good journeys" is correct; why should they only wish you one good journey, given the amount of travelling everyone does?

Take a look at how many members that party has and who it contains. there's 74 of me? Maybe I should reinstall, tho I don't remember this happening in ANY of the games/mods I've played...

-Amount of arrows/bolts/bullets have been increased
-ZER Horse speeds were too fast, maneuvering was too high, and health a bit low|Rebalanced ZER Horses.

-Added Shift/Zoom functionality to death camera to speed up movement.
-Attack and Defend buttons now make the death camera go up and down.
-Added new grunt [s]and war cries[/s] sounds for females.

-Temple type buildings that are built in towns now automatically upgrade [b]Garrisoned Top Tier Nobles[/b] to Zealots based on that town's local Faith and that town's bound village('s) local Faith.
-AI Lords now build buildings and pay money for them just like the player does.
-All improvements that give renown, increase health, population, faith(Player Faction), and income are beneficial to lords now.
-If AI Lord has a fief with a Barracks, Practice Range, or Stable built this will increase the amount of times they can hire troops by 1 each every 24 hours making these buildings very useful. Because of this the game will be much harder if a lord owns a fief with all 3 of these buildings built.
-If AI Lords have a fief with a Blacksmith built the cost of hiring troops at that fief are cut in half for them. Because of this the game will be much harder if a blacksmith is built for an AI lord.
-If AI Lord has a fief with a Barracks, Practice Range, or Stable built this will increase the amount of total experience (3000[Normal], 4500[Hard], 1500[Easy]) that is given to troops at that fief by 250 for each improvement built. If all 3 are built the owner of that fief will have higher level troops garrisoned.
-Village Elders can now be individually told to stop reinforcing player fiefs and vice versa.
-The Village Elder, Guild master, and Prison Guards (Castle) can now be asked which improvements does that current fief have.

-Bump & Specular maps were added/re-made to many textures
-During Battle the transparent map will show up.
-Total Duels between Lords/Kings & Companions is now listed in the Report Menu.

Okay, I patched with the patch that DaElf pointed me to, I continued my old game (and don't see no more me running around), but I got 3x 299 999 xp. This time around 4'o clock. I still see myself running around as bandit :/

Perhaps a new game is needed for the patches to work.
