A few doubts about quests

Hi guys, I´m having trouble understanding where to begin quests. I go and pay for info in the tavern every time but only once a guy came talking me about two old guys on  a mine. I NEED to have special weapons and qualis gems and etc. Could you help me out a bit?

Well, the answers are everywhere in the forum, but they come up so much it may be hard to filter out what you don't need.

If your focus is on Gems and Special weapons, keep checking the merchants and the rumors in the tavern.  Rare items will occasionally show up in the merchant's goods and the Rumors will occasionally reveal treasure chests.

If you can find Al-Aziz, that is the main resource for powerful weapons, and threads on the topic abound.  (Talk to a bookseller for a start on that.)

As for the mid- to late-game, focus on fighting unique and powerful foes.  The "Bosses" can be ransomed for Gems and the loot from these is substantial.
