A duel server?

We've got a lot of empty servers that are never used. Why not make one of them into a duel server? Deluge has one of the very best combat systems, far better than cRPG, MM and Native, but it is also quite a bit different. New players would have the chance to get used to the new ways of fighting that Deluge makes possible and necessary, and more exerienced players would have  place to go when they don't feel like waiting for a respawn.

Using muskets in melee in Deluge is, luckily, quite a lot different from repeatedly bayo-spamming in MM but it does take some getting used to since it's so slow.

I support the idea, since most of public servers don't seem like a place for a noble fight. And there are too much invasion servers already

And what about being shot from 30 cm because some fool does not know what fair duel is?

Well I think/hope that people would remember the names of those who fight like that and simply ignore them. Muskets are a huge part of Deluge so it'd be a shame if you couldn't practice with them. But I get your point and I've got bad experiences with ranged weapons on duel servers

Server: 15e_Duel

Map: Ruins
Factions: Random. (New factions every 20 minutes).

The weather is supposedly to be clear and @ Midday, but if this changes you are able to change it with polls.

If a majority wish to change the faction, we've made it available by polls. You cannot change the map though.

We're still setting up the configuration, so just stick tight with us for now guys, the final config. should be done very soon. I'm still getting used to the Deluge way of config.

Edit: The default combat speed seems to be a bit off, any ideas?
