A button to end all fun - please stop the terror of marking stuff as read

For the umpteenth time, I accidentally touched the "mark all messages read" button at the new replies to your posts screen. I'd really, really like it if that button (which might have never been pushed deliberately by anyone) would be moved away to some obscure, less populated place (like Janus' basement). I'm so fed up that I will even try to make a vote/petition/poll thing after I'm done typing.

I failed. If you support this cause, post here or sumtin'.

I can write a userscript for it later. Just point out all the locations it can be found in. Gotta head out for an errand first though.

I really appreciate it, and others would probably love that, but my browsing is 100% on android nowadays and I can't use your scripts on that.

But that button's already all the way over on the right side of the page away from anything you could feasibly want to click, all on its lonesome.

Or is this one of those times I'm going to be glad I don't have a touchscreen phone?

This doesn't happen to me very often but when it does, I'm completely screwed because I lose progress in 20-30 threads across the entire site. It'd be nice to have that a little smaller.

The drag-text-box hitbox for enlarging the typing interface could also be a little larger. It's nearly impossible to press on a touchscreen without zooming in and doing it pixel by pixel, where one mistake has it reverting to the original size.

I use WAP2 on phone as well, just went back to default to show the button. WAP2 is more than good enough for me usually.

I couldn't browse the forums without those soothing beige colours.

Oh, cool, other people share my pain.
I constantly accidentally tap the button that organizes topics by subject rather than latest post. Me being OCD, I constantly try to change it back, and then accidentally mark all messages as read. It's hell, I tells ya.

I tried Tampermonkey a good while ago and it didn't work. I don't know what that other thing is, I'll go check it out.

It's not that tragic. I was over the emotional part of it with a little angry/painful shouting and some face-clawing.

Edit: I tried this OilCan. It's a separate browser, just like Tempermonkey, but a very simplistic one. I dunno if the scripts work with it, but even if they do, I wouldn't really like to use it.
