Until now I hadn't played the 'picj your side' aspect of the game. Which raises a question that no doubt had concerned medieval military leaders too :
Seen from a bit afar, both side's troops look remarquably similar. It's hard to tell at first glance who's side is winning (even worse with the ID labels off).
With the dark knights or the khergit raiders, well, not much of a problem their armors ares distinctive enough.
Swadians ans vaegirs troops should have more differing style of armor -maybe more scales and mail for the vaegirs, more plates for the swadians. Or some at leastsome kind of surcoat as was done in medieval times.
