Introduction
Chapter 1 (4/10/16)
Hello Pendorians,
I used to stream off-and-on and was always looking forward to doing a Baccus character. However, my computer is starting to have hardware issues, and streaming is becoming frustrating. Until I save enough money for a new box, I thought I would give a try at a Let's Play Thread.
I plan on having a no-cavalry army, or at least minimum cavalry if I can help it. Roughly speaking, my plans are to help Demosthene Augustus overthrow Marius and declare himself as Emperor. After I have gathered a reputation, some renown, and some friends, I will rebel myself and start my own kingdom.

Introduction
My name is Krozzlin Sergius Victorinus, and I am a custom new character, starting at level one and having a well rounded skill set. I am playing a minor noble in his upper-thirties with plenty of experience leading men into battle in past Empire wars from other lands. I have come to Pendor to hunt the man that killed my bride, but quickly decide to reach for the life of a King. You know what they say about a man with 'nothing to lose'.
I play on Full damage, Good AI, No-Save

Chapter 1 (4/10/16)
Fresh off the boat in Janos. It's been a while since I've done any fighting. I have gotten weak trying to live a normal life. After a quick scuffle I have been offered to help the poor merchant get his son back.
Time to stretch some old muscles. I head into the arena to get back into the swing of things. (pun intended) It doesn't take long before I am putting these hopefuls in their place. (And I hit level 2)
I sell what things I have brought from my past life, and purchase what is reasonably priced. I should start saving to make investments in these Pendorian cities. For now I will make due with some decent armor, a heavy sword, a trusty war-spear, and some jarids.
I decide to go visit some villages; get to know the locals. I need to make friends. On my way to a nearby settlement, I find some local militia fighting a Snake Cult party. Looks like they could use a hand. This is my chance to start getting into the good graces of my neighbors.
I came upon them and took command. The militia patrol was green, but the boys fought hard. I managed to stick a few myself! Unfortunetly, they did not seem too impressed with me. Time will tell.
After some small talk, they ended up pointing me in the direction a training grounds. That's the place to get some experience in Pendorian fighting. It took me most of the day, but I when I got there it was worth it. Most of the men here were pitiful. Although I did have trouble with the veterans. Got my butt whooped a few times, but by the end of the day I had declared myself the champion. (and I got level 3)
On my way out headed to visit Cez, I ran into the City's Lord, Kyros Dux. After some small talk and introductions, he employed me to take care of a fugative hiding in the village of Dirigsene. The trip took the better part of a day, but I quickly found the man and ended up killing him. Upon my return I visited Cez and found Kyros not far from here. He paid me 300 denars. Not bad.
The village of Dirigsene did not take kindly to me making a ruckus the day before, so I though tI should go back and see if they needed any help. It wasn't long before I came upon some knights chasing down another Snake Cult party. Time to do some more killing!
The mistake I made was thinking I was ready to fight with knights. I had barely had the chance to throw a jarid before I was blind sided by a Anacoda Knight and put down in two hits of his axe. When I came to, the battle was over and the Shadow Legion was burying one of their own, while picking through the bodies of the cultists. There were some grateful prisoners that the Legion Knights had freed. Two of them agreed to follow me for a small price.
We traveled to Dirigsene and I offered the Village elder my help. He reluctantly agreed and asked me to escort a small trading party to Cez. The journey was peaceful and after a couple days I returned to let Tinkobin the Elder know that his trading party was safely in Cez selling their goods. He gave me some shipments of bread as thanks. (Tasted pretty good too) The villagers gathered around and had small talk. When I left, I had 6 young recruits with me under under my payroll.
We headed to Ethos. After a few drinks in the tavern, the boys wanted to see me fight. I entered the arena and put on a show. Afterwards we had some more drinks and I ended up meeting a lass by the name of Julia. After some drinks and talk, it was clear that she would most beneficial fighting for me. I threw her 800 denars.
We traveled to Singal, a city I was told I had to visit. After some time relaxing, we headed off to Sarleon, the old capital of Pendor. Next stop on our travel was Marleons, the seat of Duke Aelfwine. Coming through the last wood before the outskirts of the town, we hooked some followers; a small party of brigands. We were due for some fighting, lest we run out of stuff to talk about while we drink.
After our night of celebration, I thought it best to head back to the territory of the Empire. The Desert men of the D'Shar was waging war on the Emperor, and I still had a promise to keep for a merchant with a lost son. The bandits we killed earlier must have had some friends, because we had barely made it a few hours from Marleons before we were ambushed. We ran them down and I managed to stick two of them with well thrown jarids.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that the leader of the party had a beautiful sword. And now it had a new owner to put it to good use.
We traveled back to Cez and settled in. I met the most fearsomely jaded woman by the name of Kaverrra. She was quite the warrior and after some negotiating, she joined our party for 2,000 denars. (I had just enough from selling loot) We took off the next day, headed to Ethos. We planned to stay a night there before heading back to Janos and looking for recruits along the way.
