A 90-employee studio with ONE actively-maintained product is releasing only ONE THREE-LINE bug fix patch per week. Unbelievable.

I thought Tork made a good joke.

The reason is based on the game itself and not the minuscule percent of influence forum moderators have.
Yeah, you only have the power to mock people and close a thread because we are not allowed to talk about Callum telling us that M&B fans which have been playing this series for 10 years and are now 25-40 years old are too stupid to play games with depth and only want fast paced action rpg. great job there.

We closed that thread due to the rampant flaming, not the criticism of TaleWorlds. You don't have to search hard at all to find negative criticism of the company on the forums.

For me personally, I've been outspokenly negative since I was invited to alpha a year ago. There are things that I gave feedback on the first week that still haven't been fixed.

How can you be so shameless, your excuse for closing the thread was asking everyone to derail the original thread, because apparently and i quote ‘’ The best place to respond to a forum post is on the thread where it was posted ‘’ , because clearly 9 pages of people flaming and discussing the game direction implied in callum post would be perfect in the thread talking about tactical battles

This thread is just made out of salty tears and unrealistic expectations from supposed fans that played TW and CK more than M&B. The fact that there are people in here who actually promote corporate trash companies like EA of all things makes all this criticism towards Taleworlds even stupider. Just goes to show how taking advice from those who are supposed to be 'fans' is not always a good idea.

Even though there were no striking changes so far, I believe TW...

In fact, I already played this game for 366 hrs. So I can't do anything but believing TW lol

I was going to give a serious reply to this but never mind, it's not like the creator of this thread cares about it anyways XD

Orion is very funny with his silly jokes, but as soon as he gets triggered, you're getting watched and/or muted before you could spell "parameters".

He once shut me down for being repetitive with my arguments, even though they were fair points and not disrespectful at all.

Because I like the restaurant and want the food to be better.

I don't understand this. If I dont like something, then its over for me. If I actually thought something tasted like sh!t then I would never eat it again.

My hard drive is filled with games that have less than an hour played. Life is too short to waste time.

Bannerlord is actually fun the first 100 or so hours. Sure, the meal needs seasoning and some ingredient changes because its so bland but it doesn't taste like sh!t. Just send feedback and come back later, you are just hitting your head against the wall doing something you don't enjoy. You need more self respect, your life deserves better.

They don't actually like the restaurant they like(fancy) one of the employees, so go there even if the food is bad.

Well that is my assumption from their reply!

Sounds completely believable. I don't know any devs who push majors patches weekly. Strange topic.

You realize that moderators are players like us and don't work for TW right? Have a look around in the multiplayer section and you will see plenty of criticism to the game from several moderators, including Orion.

The problem is a large number of people are rightfully angry at the product we have been sold and a disproportionately high number of these threads are being closed due to 'flaming'. Moderators may have been posting negative feedback, but if they stifle anger toward the company by enforcing its rules....'just following orders' doesn't cut it.
TW is not behaving ethically as a company IMO in regards to the quality of product or the response since release (yes, acknowledging this is EA) and the endless shutting down of forum posts is obviously not allowing the undercurrent of player discontent to impact on their behavior and policy. Yes the posts look like flaming, rightfully so, TW is acting disgracefully.
Edit: clarity

I have plenty of criticism to offer towards Bannerlord and I have done so in several occasions. None of my posts were moderated, and I have never received even a warning.

There is no need to engage in flaming to express disapproval. It doesn't help anyone, and it's not going to make the situation with the game any better. If people go overboard and get banned because of it, that's just the moderators doing what they are supposed to do.

You feel less strongly about the situation, and I would agree with your moderated approach wholeheartedly, except that TW have not changed their behavior. Now a less moderate approach is called for. If a company is acting unethically, they deserve to be treated in kind, this is how society expresses what is, and is not acceptable. Think of it as an online protest

I'm not the one ragging on a moderator because I lack comprehension.
I'm not the one talking down to people because of a modicum of power.

Unethical might be a quite an exaggeration, that would possibly qualify if they decided to lock up their employees in a basement to keep them working 24/7 so the game has the more rapid process most of us desire.
However, you won't achieve anything if constructive criticism devolves into ranting and flaming, because even if the intent of your action may have some understandable reasoning behind it, a pitiful execution only discredits yourself. So keep it classy and point out flaws, propose adjustments et cetera in a civil manner and we'll eventually be blessed with the progress the game and the community deserve.

Wow. So now a video game not living up to expectations is "unethical"?

I say that's not strong enough. We should call it "crimes against humanity" and get the International Criminal Court at the Hague involved. Obviously Taleworlds is worse than Hitler for how they exterminated workshop profits so no punishment can be too harsh for these evil evil villains.
