Now recruiting

Come feed your Irish lust for freedom and serve your homeland honorably by enlisting now lads!

We are a mature and respectful line infantry regiment that focuses on realism and historical accuracy as much as we do on having fun.

History: The 83rd was raised in 1793 by William Fitch, their colonel, in and around Dublin, for service in the French Revolutionary Wars. Their first service was overseas, seeing action and garrison duty in the West Indies between 1795 and 1798. Following this they were returned to Europe, and fought under Wellington in the Peninsular campaign. In this they saw action at Talavera, Busaco, Badajoz and Salamanca. In 1815 they again served under Wellington in the Waterloo campaign, which saw the final defeat of Napoleon. Perhaps being one of the most elite of all the Irish regiments in the 19th century, we intend to respect and honor their valor and prestige.

For some reason it wont let me modify the initial post? Any reason why that when i try to modify the entire post erases?

Ahh a new Irish regiment!! Well this one has come from true blood of Irishmen and I wish you the best of luck men of Dublin!

The 87th Royal Irish Fusiliers bids you fairwell but good luck at the same time!

Faugh A Ballagh!

I learned everything I know from the great commanders at the 87th, I'm sad to leave and happy to take command on my own. I hope to see you all in the heat of battle soon, may the luck of the Irish be with us all

I would like to apply for the 83rd, I have experiece in the 33rd regiment of Foot, and I have a basic knowledge of shooting and melee, and I would like to join a small devoloping regiment and be part of that growing experience.
