Nice. Can't we simply get rid of the annoying helm's adaptation to the head ? I think that's what they did in Crusader Way to Expiation.

cuz normans used nasal conical helmets from single piece of iron along with segmented ones from 10th sentury if i'm not mistaken

I would date this helmet to, late 11th century or early 12th century.

My reference picture did not have a date to it.

That's better! My only crit would be why the bolts are so low(I think they would be in the middle) and that the paint looks kinda strange on the third picture.
