I would suggest adding a painting to the wall to add a bit of flair. It's missing in the swag department.
His bow-tie makes up for the unpainted walls.

Had my first Model UN competition of the school year yesterday. I was representing Belgium (finally lol) and I won first place in my committee which was Children in Armed Conflict. I managed to pass a resolution with 7 sponsors and 14 signatories and not a single person voted against it. I think it was a rather good resolution as well. The Belgian delegation also won an award for Honorable Delegation because we all basically ruled our separate committees. Another delegation from my school also won an award, they were representing Sweden. Our school also won an award. I think I did a good job as president of my school's Model UN class lol. I got hit on by Pakistan as well lol, but I have a lovely girlfriend so I politely ignored her flirts. Also at least 3 people told me I looked like Doctor Who haha

Essentially my resolution urged African countries to work with the African Union in counter-terror and peacemaking operations aimed at rooting out terrorist organizations and extremist militias that either target children or use children as fighters. It also increased humanitarian aid being sent by UN controlled organizations such as UNAIDS and UNICEF to victims of armed conflict, offered to support the implementation process of laws that would protect the rights of children, deplores the use of landmines and cluster munitions, urged countries to set their own age of military enlistment but to restrict enlisted personnel from actively participating in armed conflict until the age of 17 if such a law is applicable.

This is what you wrote.

This is what I read:

Oh my god Waffle has a girlfriend! AND SHE ISN'T A MONSTER!

If i was in my Model UN club, I would be Niger and just force everyone to give us money and guns.

Duuring, I'm not sure if I should be offended but I'll decide not to be for now.

And Cow, last year I was representing Sudan and I convinced the UN to send me money to help fight "dangerous rebels"

This is actually making me consider joining my highschool's Model UN club, now to get the annoying kid out of it...

A model UN club sounds pretty interesting. Too bad my school doesn't have one...  :???:

And as a side-note: (blame Waffle's sig) Who here can tell me the plural form of Mongoose?

Mongooses or just mongoose, pretty sure its the first

Mongeeses would be so much cooler though.

Yep, the plural of Mongoose iiiiiisss... drum-roll please...

Mongooses.

The Grand-Prize goes to jbebes. Congratulation, you won nothing.

Complimentary picture of two cute mongooses:

(I would prefer "Mongeese" though)

Even though I'm not a M&B-gamer and I stumbled upon this website by accident... As a fusilier of the "real-life" Belgian 7th, I'm I'm glad to see there's an international interest in a Belgian Napoleonic Line battalion.

About our Lt.-Kol: good research! I've heard of the existance of a painting of Vanden Sande, but I have no idea where it's located. And off course, same goes for his death and burial place (but I expect it to be somewhere around Brussels).

We're expecting a book about the Belgians in the Netherlands army in a few weeks/months, which concludes a 2-year research in the Belgian and Dutch military archives. The uniforms and equipment you all got used to might change considerably...

Anyway, keep up the good work y'all

Vive le Roi!
(remember: We had been occupied by France for 20 years. Even under Dutch rule our mottos were French.)
