My saved games are STILL getting corupted after a few days and when I try to re-load them my cmputer crahses. GGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

It did this to me in .632 as well and everyone who had solved the problem I already HAD those upgrades (like direct x) in, I thikni t might be my computer, I will be upgrading it soon (well, ram and graphics card, I hate you dell...)

i had this happen to me just now. I wanted to start a new char so i did and i got some error sayin it couldnt load (JIT) i apologize for not getting the exact message. I hit ignore and it went into the game a few mins later the screen went all pixelated and my comp restarted. I then deleted my old game and started a new one and it crashed again in char creation. I havnt tried again since then.
Differnet problem, I can create chars just fine. Just after a few days they get corrupted.
I've yet to get a corrupted save.
99% of the time if a save is corrupted it means something is altering the file, either before or after the save. This could be antivirus, a virus or even a search program.
Try checking the disk and defragging and see if the problem repeats. Its tricky with manufactured models since they always stuff them full of those aggravating programs which are supposed to make computing easier for the braindead, but instead wreak the kind of havoc a script kiddie would be proud of.

There is this thing that pops up like one of those msn pop ups say person X has logged on or you have X# of mail...
