I realise that this is my second one of these so i dont hold much hope for myself. However yesterday when our regiment was removed first from the Official battle server and then most of us from teamspeak, i do feel that we were unfairly treated. I apologize to Praetorian, I may be wrong but i believe you entered the server at the point that many were raging and its only natural you would support the other admins. I believe you also entered ts briefly, im not sure if you got the whole story but Im going to try and give it to you here.
Many 66th members wanted to have a bit of fun and entered the official battle server and chose the class musicians. They continued to use this class on a number of maps, it may not be particularly helpful to the team but at the end of the day we do alot of Line battles and we just wanted a bit of a laugh. Anyway they went to certain bits of the map that were harder to reach, e.g. the island on the map with a beach, which whilst annoying Didnt break any rules. They also took themseleves off the island when asked, however Im not sure as to the reason but the admin in question decided to slay them all anyway. The reason for the raging was in my view the constant over spamming of hand grenades by admins who in my view were doing it for the sake of it, against people who didnt break any rules, in addition to this the admins i believe provoked a reaction by declaring the 66th to be a regiment of childish trolls. Im not going to pretend insults werent thrown after all this, howver i do believe that on a game that is aimed at young adult age bracket, people neeed to learn to take insults with a pinch of salt. I do also believe that the arguments on the server were inevitable, noone sits idly by while their regiments pride is rubbed in the dirt.
I would like to mention it has been half a year since any previous incidents regarding this regiment, it has pretty much been reformed since then and I would like to think is held in relatively high regard by the community considering the line battle invites we recieve. This in consideration i believe that it was just a bad night for those involved, the admins in question are not bad admins, infact this is the first incident i have disagreed with either, and the 66th is by no means a reoffending regiement, this being the first incident in a very long time. I would like to see the whole thing forgotten, although i realise this is wishful thinking.
I would also like to request that if possible I could give a list of our newer members and perhaps some of the members not present, so that they aren't banned on sight, because I do not feel that would be fair on them. I would like to mention also that there were members of the 66th playing on the server normally and if possible i would like to see them unbanned, i can inform you of their names.
In conclusion I believe I have given an accurate account of what happened, Im sure the logs would support that statement, thank you and i apologize for any inconvenice caused.
