lust not to get into a full blown argument here but tuff you cant get on with everyone, and id have Lezalit as the companion because i love him

Well I try to get along with people but I understand that I can come across hostile at times. Some people take it personally, others don't.

I wish you and lezalit all the best.

lol i hope we can turn over a new leaf lust

Like I said, I don't mean anything I say personally. (most of the time).

Plus I rarely hold grudges and you have been alot better lately.

I find Lezalit to be a bit pedantic

I prefer him to Rolf. That guy is an *******.

gypsydevil 说:
Yeah I actually have the sneaking suspicion that Rolf is a serial rapist

Ask klethi, Rumours are he likes em rough.

wow this is wayy off topic.

Is strong bow the best for Horse archery?

My character isn't sophisticated to use bows. He tried once, but ended up breaking the 3000 denar bow because he hit an oncoming knight in the face with it. Never have I let him try again.

Nah, I would say war bow for that one too. The speed may not be as fast as the strong bow, but the power is better. And the accuracy is equal me thinks.

No, stick with the strong bow, faster means more arrows out per min. With the speed bonus of the horse, extra power (1 dmg...) is not an issue. And Strong bows have a lower power draw requirement hence they are more accurate.

Hey Mabons. Stop making me look bad using good arguments

And captain lust. Don't counter this post with something like: "You make yourself look bad dumbass!"
Or anything like that. That goes for the rest of you.

Nothing better than to watch someone get hit in the face by a 1.3 metre javelin with blood squirting out of his stupid calradian eye, then proceeding to hit the ground with a big thump.

Oh man I remember my first javelin>face hit.

It was uber sweet. Peasant woman didn't know what hit her due to it being IN HER BRAIN.

I think i'll stick with the strong bow for mounted archery. A long (ish) bow for horse archery don't seem right.

That's because you were stupid enough to fight the nords.
or maybe its the city's layout in siege? :O

i would find it much harder if there where to be vaegirs on the city walls. to damn much archers.

I use the shortbow for roleplay reasons, as well as it not needing power draw, and those points are better spent elsewhere on my primarily sword n' halberd character (I use Native Expansion).

I'll probably try an archer eventually though, but I doubt I'm good/lucky enough to be efficient without my heavy charger.

As you can tell from my avatar, when I'm in need for a long-range weapon, I'm more of a crossbow wielder. A heavy crossbow (for sieges) or a light crossbow (field battles) are my weapons of choice. But unless I'm facing some serious unhorsing threats (Like a legion of huscarls or Rhodok sergeants), I'd usually just swap the crossbow for a lance or extra shield in field battles. I always bring my crossbows for sieges/defending fiefs, though.
