Speaking with your own lords is a bit strange at times. You can ask your lords, in private, what they feel about yourself, and they talk about you like you weren't there. Asking about how goes the war is the same thing.

Thanks for pointing that out -- will definitely add that to the list.

Probably what I'll do is to disable the "in private" option if you're a liege, but allow the player to learn about lords through a minister.
