60 fps vs 120 fps vs 240 fps

Alright so if I were to switch to 120 fps, how would that give me an advantage over people with 60 fps or less?

Everything will feel smoother and feints will be easier to track. The advantage is minimal though, I don't think many elite players have 120hz+ monitors right now. I'd say its mainly a quality of life upgrade, it really does feel amazing to play on higher refresh rates and it'll be difficult to go back once you try it.

Just to reiterate though, you need a monitor that can support higher refresh rates.. just bumping up the setting for max fps in warband doesn't do what I'm talking about. You can see if you monitor supports higher refresh rates by right clicking your desktop >NVIDIA Control Panel (if you have NVIDIA) > Change Resolution > Select your display > Change your refresh rate to higher options if available

Okay, thanks for that clarification. Sadly, I will need a new monitor (and possibly a new computer) if I intend to play with anything near 120 fps.I just don't think it is worth the investment, but when Bannerlord comes out, I don't think I will have much choice.

After I went to 144hz I stopped getting missing animations. Might be coincidence but either way it was really nice.

Okay I changed my mind. I have ordered a 144hz monitor and also intend to upgrade my graphics card to a gtx 1060 soon. I will post an update with the results once I have tested it on MB and other games.
