Sergeant Knight at Arms
I created this for myself last night through about fifteen minutes of relatively simple photoshopping. Now, I have put this up for download hoping to somewhat brighten others desktops. It is a styalized picture of my character holding a sword of war in front of an arched door with two translucent bars on the upper and lower portions of the screen for placement of desktop icons.

Background thanks to: Brigantes Nation

It is in JPEG format and is native to 1024x768 resolution. You may download it here.

The easy instruction: download the picture, right click and set as desktop background/ wallpaper. To save, right click on the picture and left click "save image as..."

The easy instruction #2: click on the thumbnail, right click and click set as desktop background/ wallpaper.

Here are some other instructions as to how to install a desktop background/ wallpaper.

Comments, criticism, and requests are welcome and encouraged.

Number 2: I definately don't like this as much as the one before, but thats just my opinion.

Background thanks to: Bob Evans
Frame thanks to: Sandra Kuck

Number 3: I love this one- it's at a close match with the first. If you haven't noticed, the same picture of my M&B character is in both pictures 2 and 3. Also, it carries the same border as the first.

Background thanks to: Transylvanian Cultural Highlights Circuit

version 3: bottom of hilt should appear to go through the bottom border and come out on top.

version 4: icon areas removed on top and bottom. one has now beeb placed on the left side.

Thanks! This member has got a new wallpaper.

EDIT: Maybe take a normal armour though, not the Gondor one.

It is very good wall paper.

Is it possible to make background blank colour, I think black or some sort of dark colour is nice.

When I make my own Wallpaper, I always make sure to have simple graphic (usually a block of colour) on left side. Left side is where people usually put shortcuts or desktop icons so it's nice to keep this part very simple to avoid cluttering.

Nice work! I want to see the second version!

I was unable to do what you requested to the first image, but I was able to do it to the last.

I may make some more this afternoon, any requests for backgrounds, borders, areas for icons (or lackthereof), any artsy styles (or lackthereof), poses [includes any items the character is using], or anything else?

Poster edges for the character and Fresco for the background if I recall correctly. However, messing around with others may prove to yield more than satisfactory results.

It is Fresco filter.

Maybe try changing pics in duo, or tritone? or simply change the colour balance and add a lens flare could be nice. I once made this using tritone.
