51st and 84e stop being arrogant and support the community

For MONTHS now you've had the same 2-3 maps on the server. Refusing to support the custom mapping community. Yes they are your servers and you can do what you want BUT you have to remember we only have a small community with normally only 1 of the 2 Siege servers actually full at any given time.

I'm not bashing your own custom maps, but it's been so long with the same maps being played when more can be made if given a platform.

The 84e guys only use their maps and the 51st Guys use the normal maps and maybe a few selfmade maps.

Thanks, you've pointed out exactly what I said. For MONTHS now though it's been the same maps, add some variety and let the custom map community who make better maps play some.

Well one of the Official maps included in this version of the dlc was actually from one of our mappers (a guy named ragox) who was at the time not a member but he approached us and of course we saw it was a good map and included it. Obviously people have to approach us and if we think a map is good enough we would have no problem with including it on our server.  http://steamcommunity.com/id/goldfox

I don't know where you get this information from, but that's not true.
Just for excample: Aldemar, Fahausi aka Kabs (an very old mapper and modder for MM) & me gave Ragox much advice and tipps how to design his map and tested it several times on our servers. And now it is an official map! Think about it. When I am in Steam or Teamspeak I EVERYTIME answer questions about mapping, if I am asked.

This post should have been worded more like: 'I would love to see more maps in future, keep up the good work', as encouragement and compliments will motivate them to make more, much more than brazen insults and being unappreciative. Anything these guys make is merely a bonus for what you payed for, as they were never obliged to fund servers and spend so much time maintaining and developing them. Be grateful for what they have done for the community and positively encourage, your attitude will get you nowhere otherwise.

Indeed and well, maybe he doesn’t know that most maps where done by a couple of prestigious members of our community including Rycon, Condoz, Fortune, Fahausi, Harbringer, Ragox, Donald and the great Olafson from FSE.

Rycon and Condoz spent countless hours fixing and implementing new maps during the beta, so in case you didn't notice, most of the refined maps which were implemented in the DLC are actually made by the community members themselves.

I would like to thank all of the above and others who contribute to our community and yes, if a map is good enough, you too will have the chance to get your map officially in the DLC.

You can't say the community isn't "map-making" supportive.. If you have any questions just ask them and i'm sure there are plenty of guys around here, who could help you out. So please...

Da hell you on about. How are we "refusing" to support the custom mapping community? If people have a map that's good and we approve it, we'd gladly put it on our servers. No one has offered us good maps so far.

Can I suggest that you (Aldemar, Gokiller and "Dragonlord") explain why you dislike the maps instead of simply saying "No, no, no" or I and others will be forced to agree with the OP - you are not supporting the map-making community.

If one does not explain why maps are "bad" then the map makers will continue to carry on making "bad" maps, you are your own enemy here.

People join our teamspeak or we invite them to it, when they have questions about map making. So you cant know how many people we help,you cant see the PMs we get in this forum or 84e forum. We help by Talking to them not by posting into the forum.
