They aren't half bad. Only thing I don't really like is the green variants of both armours, they look strange.

To be honest, the native Samurai armor looks awful, the texture sucks, if you want to make a good looking Samurai armor you should need some new texture instead of old one, thats just my opinion. The second one is great

Can the green armor of the second set be salvaged ? If so, what would you change ?

I think the torso portion is fine, but the green area below the belt is too vivid. I'd apply some sort of weave or cloth texture to it to give it some grit, and then desaturate until it looked right with the other green. I like the color variant, though it would have to go on very specific troops.

Yes i have seen this armor, you've shown it some other day ago by a link you gave me and i replied it was very good. The main details are there and the most problematic was the helmet.

Its coll you release it like that, but would be a perfect release if you either got assistence on doing the helmet or by just yourself.

I'd encourage you to go on with other diferent culture armors but you better than me and many other know it takes a LOT of time ehehe
