So apparently there was a 5.9 magnitude earthquake in Virginia an hour or so back. I live in the North of Pa and was woken up this morning by a picture falling on me, and my bed violently shaking. This was also a bit of a surprise, as Earthquakes don't often occur in the North, let alone ones of such magnitude.

The rest of my family felt the quake, but oddly enough I didn't notice it. I think I need some coffee.

Morning? It happened in the afternoon....

Anyways, we had some shaking in DC, but nothing too worrying. Most of my office left for the day (wusses).

My first earthquake, pretty cool!

I'm just outside of Richmond and the shaking was pretty intense for about 30 seconds, but no damage.

My balls were resting on the ground when this happened.

I know this because I randomly got an erection, nothing to do with the elderly women walking by.

I was in the auditorium of a chemistry building waiting for a lecture to start on "Science, Technology, and Society" when the quake hit; I just assumed people with messing around with chemicals downstairs.

Interesting: The earthquake cracked the walls at my nephew's school (over in VA). They had to evacuate the building.
