40+ spirits down

Ok, so in the walkthrough it says I must kill 40 groups of spirits. I have killed almost 60. Is that because I had some soldiers with me when I killed them?

Did you kill multiple groups in one fight? I'm not sure it counts.

All seperate groups, troop numbers of the spirits from 6 to 50.

Make sure you have all necessary people in your party.
