Or they simply decided to release it on the 31th because its the last day of march and want the full month out of it. They could have simply done it one weak earlier but they insist on 31
True, just pointing out why Tuesday is not a bad day to release something.

I mean, yeah. No one should be surprised by them taking the whole month. It's funny how many people say they wish TW had just announced April. If they had said April they'd end up releasing at the end of April. It'd be April 28th at the earliest (for that sweet Tuesday release). No question.

I will at least wait to read other people's impressions before dropping 50€ on an incomplete game. Last day of March with many missing key features does not inspire confidence though.

And I have to admit the option to try Mount & Blade, whether the gameplay is interesting or not at all, before buying is nice. It speaks of the developer's faith in their product.

As far as i know anyone who expects march expects it somewhere in the middle. Not at the very last day

For me price is OK. I wait a lot of time for this game. Price is depend what developers give us on start.

Really? Because there have been plenty of discussions in this forum over the past few weeks that might suggest otherwise. There was a poll this past Monday where more than half of the respondents picked dates of March 29th or later. Nearly 10% thought it would be delayed past March altogether.

A game has been hyped up for nearly 10 years with constant delays and people have been expecting it to be delayed again, for it to not be delayed.

Yeah people are going to vote "yes". The poll is completely irrelevant.

I'm not sure you've understood my response (or perhaps I haven't understood yours). You said "anyone who expects March expects it somewhere in the middle" and I've pointed you to another thread wherin this was clearly not the case. I'm not concerned with this poll. I get thinking the price is high and I understand being frustrated by the date to an extent. What I don't understand is this idea that we've been deceived in some way.

They said March. Not early March, not mid-March, just March. The a priori assumption would be that any day from the 1st to the 31st would be equally viable. However, you would be correct to point out that this date is unlikely to have been a random decision and that it would be unfair to compare it to, say, a dice roll (as I will admit I'm tempted to do). Lucky for us though, we have years of experience to help us predict TW's behavior and overwhelmingly, I would say that that experience has been that everything seems to take TW longer than expected.

I think that early access is a shady practice. It is a cancer that should die. Gothic 3 failed because it was sold unfinished. Now it's everybody's practice. **** early access, **** micro-transactions, season passes and digital pre-orders. I'm not gonna support that.
About the price: i think, that having to pay 50 euros to be able to test a beta build is a little bit to much. I would not mind to pay 50 euros for finished product if it catches me.

So wait for the full release. Nobody is forcing you to buy it next month.

I saw someone posting on reddit about tuesday being some kind of "start of the week" for game sales numbers. not sure how much weight that has.

I bet that it's just to give them as much time as possible while keeping their promise, which is fine with me.

50 Euros for an EA game is a bit much.

Also the date is hopefully nothing to go by. They release it on the latest day possible without backlash from the community, doubt it is ready.

Gotta disagree. 50€ is perfectly fine for such a massive game. You gotta keep in mind: Yes it is EA, but all the future patches, fixes and updates will be free for ppl who bought the EA version. In comparison, FIFA 20, which featured some new physics and a new league + some new players cost 69.99€... for pretty much the same as FIFA 19. So yeah, 50€ is perfectly fine.

it worse 50$ but its too out of my range. i think i must forget having this game at list for years until good discount.

There will be regional pricing. It won't be 50 USD for you, but maybe a third or half of that in your own currency upon launch if you live in South America, Asia or East Europe.
