No the people that want a skillbased combat system thats not flawed to the very core

"Flawed to the very core" == not warband

I have good tidings for you:

1) they can and will still change the game considerably in the next year
2) you can always go back to playing warband in case they don't cater to your whims, I'm sure there'll be a lot of "hardcore" players doing that

has nothing to do with the game being different to warband
just because most people are too bad at the game to see the combats flaws doesn't mean they don't exist.

Listen, ok, maybe there is a potential problem of that nature, I wouldn't know.

But really, it was not a reason to postpone the EA release, like I said the game will still change considerably for at least an year (their expected early access duration), and in that time, and with an eff ton of people playing, said potential problems may come to light, who knows.

Trying to counter everyone else's hype because of your own doubts, Why? Is nobody allowed to enjoy the game just because you don't like it?

Take your head out of your ass.
It's never good to over hype unfinished game. It's good to keep your feet on the ground.

So i can't have my own opinion while you can?
I think the combat is very bad with low skillceiling. Alot of other people that care about multiplayer agree with that and call out the same problems.
If you just care about singleplayer that's cool, but a better combat won't hurt singleplayer.

Still better then warband
Name one example.

There is already high-skill cap combat mod. Enjoy, no need to let TW tell you how to play the game. (y)

I don't think anyone would argue that Bannerlord is better than Warband in terms of combat. Yet the overwhelming majority of the community will most likely not care about it at all, considering MP is a smaller community than SP, and even within MP the subset of players who can do something as simple as block manually is even smaller. However if when bannerlord goes into full release, the combat is still inferior than Warband it really isn't the end of the world. The MP community is free to keep playing Warband, or later modding a custom server so the combat works like Warband.

Point of that mod is to help TW to fix combat...
Remind me of all the games that just discarded their internal work to replace it with that of modders. If anything the mods has made it harder for TW to apply these changes now. Tell your employee that his work his **** and randos on the internet did a better job than him, so he ought to copy them.:xf-eek:

Relying on mods to fix the game is a terrible approach.
No.

I'm aware of that but I absolutely refuse to accept this after 8 years of development

It's more like fine tuning than replacing combat system, but i get and agree with your point.

That is people's own decision, we don't need someone telling people how to feel about the game.

It's not about singleplayer or multiplayer, it's about you trying to convince people that the game is **** and for what? What relevance does it have to the thread, Literally nobody asked, they were just excited from the news.

If someone is excited for the game just let them be, you don't need to prove to them that they're wrong.

Don't think people claimed this would be the case. Alot of people were hoping for a delay for the games sake.
Delay for what? The concept of EA outright states that the game is unfinished, what would you need to delay it for? What people want from EA is the singleplayer content. MP content will not change anyway, it will simply allow more people to play it. Also blowing the combat issues way out of proportion again. Are we back in August or what? I can name all the biggest issues from the top of my head. To call it "flawed to the very core" at this point is ridiculous.

This could be...THE GREATEST game in the HISTORY of greatest games ever made ever... ever... and you're trying to tell us not to be excited?

Please don't defend Early Access as if it's a real development strategy, it literally only exists so studios can release an unfinished game as the full price point.

Source: A game that has been in development for 8 years should not go to early access.

Keyword: "Could". I'm just afraid of bad steam reviews, if game doesn't meet their expectations. That's why over hype is bad for ALL games.
