Recruit

First off, great game- I played WAY too much since release, cant put it down. Some suggestions overall, trying to avoid things that I'm assuming work in progress
Combat:
Excellent. 1 suggestion: have javelins and throwing axes decrease shield speed (ie harder to move with a giant javelin weighing you down, much like roman pila)
Field Battles
Eagerly awaiting tactics skill of pre-placing troops. this is vital when facing horse archer heavy armies as you have to race to palce your troops
Make reinforcements come from the EDGE of map. VERY frustrating for having your reinforcements spawn in the middle of an enemy force when you are in a defensive position, or enemies spawning behind your battle line.
Allow 'attack type' orders: ie order your cav to attack enemy cav, cav attack archers, infantry defend archers, etc
Siege Battles
Assume a lot of work is going to happen here, still fun
allow 'target' orders for seige engines: ie tell your catapults to target the battering ram, siege tower, etc
Equipment:
High tier armor: Allow you to place an order/requisition from smithy, esp if you are king, lord, or own the smithy (ie If im king, I can pay the smith to make me a suit of plate armor/horse armor/etc). This provides lore-friendly way for high tier armor once you are established
Towns:
Add the gang member stuff from the early access video
more uses for civilian outfits (like attacked by assassins in warband, missions to rescue lords from dungeons, etc)
Conversation/Dialogue:
Make traits count for more, and less RNG. For example, if I am best friends with a lord and have my own kingdom, of COURSE they want to defect to me
also, if I have high valor for example, make that either an automatic success for a dialogue option or SIGNIFICANTLY improve the chance of success
Traits:
see above. make more transparent how to gain, make it easier to gain valor/generosity/mercy, more role play options. idea below.
bad traits should be able to have SOME advantages. If you are known to be cruel and valorous, if you threaten someone it should make them really scared.
Lords/fief management:
I'm assuming their will be much more lord interaction and much more is planned, BUT.....
'Sit in Judgement/hold court'- Lords often had to settle disputes or judge cases. If you have a fief, have events that allow us (or our govenor) to do this in a 'hold court/sit in judgement' setting, allowing us to earn trait points (honor/mercy/etc) and / or relationship and financial benefits or drawbacks.
A king could be able to do the same, but settle disputes between lords
Clan/Party management:
allow us to give our companion controlled parties commands/instructions- ie tell our party run by a companion to patrol our fiefs from bandits, go questing, raid carvans, etc
Companions: allow for renaming/title change/appearance change
Character Creation:
more banner sigils
more banner colors
more 'sliders' for weight, buffness, etc
Regardless, AWESOME game. love it. great job. going to have to delete it now that my vacation is ending so I can keep my job.
