I've loved this game for years after my older brother introduced it to me. One of my favorite memories of Bannerlord is when I finally conquered the continent on the first campaign I started in this game. I stuck with it through all the defeats, imprisonments, faction changes, and even when I had to continue my conquest through my kids. I loved every minute of it.

This game is absolutely amazing and it has gotten me through some tough times.
Ive had so many good memories playing this game from massive field battles to sieges.
My best memory is probably the siege to finaly destroy the Vlandians. I had Jaculan Sieged for days and i had just starved their garrison out. They still had maybe 700 defenders but was nothing compared to my army of 2000. With both sides of their walls breiched, i stormed in flanked by my Mameluke Palace Guard cutting down everyone as we went through the walls. It was an epic bloodbath one for the ages. I was even able to kill Ingalther, who was the current ruler of Vlandia at that time. After the siege was up I execute every one of those prisoners. Good times.
Really tho this game is amazing. I love the mix of strategy and FPS hack n slash action. Ive spent almost 1000 hours playing, many sleepless nights, and will spend many more!

In all honesty, my favorite moment was finding out this game even existed. It's exactly what I've been wanting for years and years. Have had absolutely amazing times playing it since.

All the winners of the giveaway have been contacted. The stories you shared over the past few days during the giveaway have been nothing short of amazing. Thank you for your incredible support over the years - you all rock!

For anyone interested, here's a little infographic we prepared around player stats.

I lol'ed. We all do the Empire run (I'm the emperor type), sadly by the looks of it for a short time sadly and then abuse the damn Fian Champions, kind of surprised Khuzait aren't the third, thou Sergeants and/or Banner knights explains it.

Ah, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord—what a game! One of my favorite memories was a seemingly endless siege battle that had me pinned against overwhelming odds. I was defending a castle with a handful of troops, maybe 100 against nearly 500 attackers. It started around midnight, and I figured I’d try to hold the line just to see how long we could last.
The battle was chaos—archers raining down arrows, trebuchets smashing into the walls, ladders swarming with enemies. We were holding out on one side of the castle, funneling the attackers into these narrow chokepoints. Eventually, it felt like a medieval version of 300. The walls were covered with fallen soldiers on both sides, and my tiny garrison somehow managed to survive, holding the castle with only a few exhausted troops remaining. By the time the "Victory" banner appeared, it was past 4 AM, but I was still in that post-battle daze, totally hyped and also realizing I'd have to face a horde of attackers again soon.
It was one of those Bannerlord moments that just pulled me in—the thrill of holding a castle when all hope seemed lost, mixed with the absolute immersion of the medieval setting. The next day, I was definitely dragging, but it was 100% worth it!

Having over 1000 hours on steam for Mount and Blade: Warband and Mount and Blade: Bannerlord along with another 200-300 hours on xbox, I find that I have an unreasonable amount of fond memories of this game. While I primarily play the single player campaign, I have dabbled in every aspect. This is by far and away my favorite game of all-time.

My top memory of Mount and Blade was made while running the WOIAF mod based on Game of Thrones where I found myself in an open-sea battle against some Iron Islanders. I had nothing but unsullied in my army and several large ships, seeing them all in formation waiting to board or be boarded felt so immersive and neat that I just couldn't forget it.

I really wish that the ability to build one's own castles, towns, and cities would be added in a future update or M&B game. Customizable troop trees and sites for the player's faction is something I'm sure all M&B megafans would like to see.

I know this contest ended, I just felt the need to share my own story and thoughts!

Regards,
BadDragon

My favourite memory playing M&B is warband native in 2012 sending in the swadian knights and watching an army of 500 nords getting slaughtered by 100 swadian knights. then continuing to pillage their whole kingdom. Probably the most fun I've had M&B

Favorite memory... Early playthough. I was playing a Battanian because I loved the celtic vibe. I would play battles and sieges listening to Danheim radio on spotify. Exploring the map, I wound up playing the tournament circuit in Sturgia. And that was when my Varron saw her. Svana in Tyal. He saw her like an angel of battle on the tournament frost. He was so distracted that he didn't even see it when Olek clocked him over the head with a mounted sword strike. When he woke up, the tourney was over.. but he didn't care. He had a new mission. He sought her out, and at first she rejected him. Minor mercenary that he was. And thus he went out into the world to make a name for himself. Carving a swath of blood across tournament grounds until the day came he could join an army.

After a few victories he approached Godun, Svana's father and clan head. Come to find out he had been looking for a match for his dear daughter, but was tired seemingly, of waiting. He accepted a dowery of not less than 5 camels. Auspicious beginning, to be sure! And though the marriage went through, her acceptance of him took time. But soon enough he was able to show her his grit and fortitude on the fields of battle as they fought their way across the kingdoms of Calradia. Varron embracing the Khuzait method of horse archery, Svana leading the charge in the cavalry.

They settled on a vassalage in the Western Empire. As Garios regaled them of the nature of man and the empire in a way that spoke to both of their hearts. Years go by, and 3 children later... a years long war with the northern kingdom coming to a close. Varron and his love made their way to Seonon, his home and claimed city to welcome their 4th into the world. And then it happened... Svana, the love of this mans life and wife of many years.. .passed away in childbirth. As of this point I had roughtly 70 hrs in the campaign, and I had grown quite fond of this character that fought beside my champion. Hand in hand, back to back. Swords in hand, they carved a portion of the world for themselves.

As I sat there processing the loss of Varron's dear wife. The warning came that Vlandia saw this as an opening to invade Varron's lands and try to take what he and Svana had built. Big... mistake. His rage consumed no less than the entire northern half of Vlandian lands. With Alary, whom had replaced Derthert, sending repeated calls for peace... summarily rejected by an aging Garios. Until Pravend fell... Rage sated, Varron went home and soon followed his love. Leaving a practical kingdom to their children.

This was the playthough that solidified my love of this game, this world. And 1872 hrs later, I am still amazed how differently things can go each time I start a new character.
