May 12 best fits the schedules of Argus and Myself and that will give us time to grow as well as give time for more people to buy the Napoleonic DLC and check out regiments and recruiting.

Hm, yeah. That did occur to me. In fact, when the DLC comes out, I think it will be hard for me to wait, even =P
My thinking is that we can do as we did with the EPI; hold a few unofficial trainings/events in the meantime. Or, alternatively, just move the launch date closer if we decide we're ready.
One thing we will be doing as soon as the DLC releases is trying some new tactics. Marching has been updated and improved, and it appears that we may actually be able to march together correctly now, rather than in a ripple motion. So I'm holding off on finishing the manual until I know what can, and can't be done.

Though, you must forgive me for my potential stupidity concerning what I'm about to say:
Is this a stand-alone regiment? Or is this a historical accuracy project like was set up a while ago, to get a full sized regiment to run alongside another one? Or is this a replacement to the 1stEPI? I see a lot of EPI guys here, I'm not entirely sure what this is. Pardon my stupidity.

The reason you see a lot of ex-EPI guys is because I recruited them from the retirement home

Enough regiments have expressed interest that I think we can try organizing some nice events on a small scale, see how it works, and perhaps generate more interest.

Yeah we are probably going to end up with a closer/better launch date as it gets closer and we've had more time to discuss it.
