No doubt there is some imminent rage.
However to all people who were kicked for randoming the poor defencless priest who does nothing but dodge attacks and cry out noooo I am a pilgrim. Suck it.

i made an appearance before as John, and from what i could see, there's a lot of hate, arguing and abuse

maybe the rules need to be more clearer so that they're easier to enforce? instead of having rules 1. and 3. you could have just rule 1. which would state that your kill must have a rp purpose, and rule 2. which would be no repeatedly killing people at the spawn and mines

we have to try and make this as fun as possible for everyone

 
rule 4. is good, but it means you'll have to be extra careful who you give admin to since it can be used at the admin's discretion
 
1. rule: Roleplay, or leave. This means no randoming, no spawn camping, and admins reserve the right to kick or ban if they see any game threatening play.

good role playing, respect towords others, and alot of fighting on the right places
keep it up lads
btw i have to say i like the other map more
the newest, with the underground mine
u might consider make it a perm map

Anyway: I was playing with an knights coalation(Every knight of any colour could join) We where having an good  time at was mining at the moment adn then 3 yellow guys charge in and kill all at mine without saying anything or declaring war or such, Though i succed to flee away to the tavern though they come after me an gang me up, Then i ask why they killed us, THey'll said that we have an diffrent colour is enough of a reason to kill all of us... Their commander was Jaetro can't remmber the other ones
 
Until there is a better and broader capasity for communitcating RP items there is going to be so much turmoil about unfairness and actions without cause or "motivation" <-- thats and acting term  :wink: that it won't make any difference. Until there is a PW chat revamp that really effectively covers this it doesn't matter how you change or enforce the rules it still isn't gunna work out.

Items of this thought.
1. TS is not a viable solution because while it allows you to better communicate with you team or group it creates a barrier between communication with every player on the server. If you require RP "motivation" to justify actions then the entire server or atleast everyone involved with the specific action needs to understand it or atleast be able to hear or see the "motivation". Thus because TS divides us into teams and factions for better communication it will not fix this problem.
2. The native multiplayer text option is not good enough. Kills and text appear in the same area and only 3 or so lines can be displayed at once. This is not copasetic in a situation where you need to see large and or varied amounts of information. You could log at the game log, but evn then trying to find waht one person said a few minutes ago can be difficult.

There are many more points to go over, but I'm tired.

Until players can clearly communicate with others esspecially people they are fighting against there will always be this daunting problem...       
 
Solutions For this problem:

The creation of a chat box.

This would be much like the chat box in any Mmorpg except for that fact that it isn't attached to a gay game. It would allow you to scoll back and review conversations, whisper other characters if needed and talk via faction or team/group.

Kills and other actions like gate openings would go in the regular feed so as to avoid cluttering up the chat box.

I'm sure there are many solutions...

Other than the communication issue I like alot of the changes you've made Plazek.
 
Updated the OP with a small adjustment to the rules.
We will be back some days (hopefully one or two) with a 128 slot server.

Looking forward to it,  I have one question about the rules though:

Rules 说:
f) No teamkilling, no matter how justified it seems.

I assume this applies only to the non-PWMod servers as the example of Bandits killing other Bandits is still included in your post, but I'd like to confirm this to avoid problems.
