2016 U.S. Presidential Elections: The Circus Is In Full Swing

That "entirely peaceful protest" could not be heard over the sounds of explosives thrown by the protesters. Get your facts straight before you post.
So if pushed on this, you would provide facts/sources that show that the protests were more non-peaceful (in charachter?) and that the police response to said non-peaceful protestors was targeted and proportional in response (because that's the implication).

Half genuine question. Half suspect you're full of **** and you don't care for fact beyond what you've drawn in your head.

" Shortly before 9:00 p.m., a group of protesters began throwing objects at officers and blinding the officers with lasers. Over the next several hours, there were at least 18 different incidents of rioters throwing explosives, rocks, bottles, and paint balloons at officers. "

To clarify, explosives = fireworks. 2nd, majority of protests are characterized as lawful/peaceful.

Because of course the official Charlotte Police Twitter is going to be like "we're a bunch of assholes, and we would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling kids".

Because, of course, the protesters are going to be like, "we didn't do nuffin, just walking aalong." Neither side are a bunch of angels.
Except for Trump's threat to send in the Army, the whole thing would be over.

Using fireworks in a situation like that is a deliberate tactic to create an environment where eventual actual explosives or gunshots fade into the general similar noise. It's quite close to robbery with a credibly looking plastic gun

This is probably a slip up but bad actor if you're provoked is still a bad actor.

2nd, police are notorious when it comes to covering up for each other. I think there was an informal experiment where a civilian wanted to file a complaint against an officer, but was denied so 80% of time. This either by some form of intimidation or artificial complication by the police station. This was tried all across the US with similar results.

And part of that has to deal with how police training is really failing society currently and why part of this whole thing happened in the first place. There are a lot of good police officers out there but there are also a lot of ego-driven thugs who take issues really personally, and who will respond to protests like these (or, say, issues regarding possible counterfeit bills) with excessive force because they are more or less encouraged to do so.

2 ninjas.

Tactic by the protestors? But they didn't fire actual rounds. What do they get out of it?

General confusion and cover for any illicit noise (breaking in and looting). It's an audio smokescreen.

There may have not been any actual shots fired that night in that place, but 2 cops were shot and another stabbed in Brooklyn just last night. Cops were also shot in St. Louis and I think Vegas, or LA, or both. Possibly other places too, I don't keep a full record.
