Just wondering if two years in “early access” is enough time to release the private servers and allow us to actually mod the game and have fun. Or are you just going to push it back again like the last 15 times? In the time that was wasted from 2020 to now, you could have developed an entirely new game (or improved this one). Instead, we’re just seeing the same excuses as the past decade. Is there going to be any progress at least in terms of multiplayer any time soon?
 
Yes, you could have completely develop a game in that time - a side scroller or FPS , just like a plethora of other unknowns .... your point ?

Talking of unknown FPS, New game Guardians of the Galaxy is apparently VERY good ! but poorly promoted.

While progress has been way too slow, it is wrong to say that the game hasn't improved in the last 2 years. It has.

We have to take into account that TW has made things more difficult for themselves by removing internal code blockers in order to facilitate modding, which is good. But even that still doesn't excuse how slow things have been, of course. As former employees have stated, there are problems inside Taleworlds that are the cause of work happening so slowly.

I do feel for the MP community though, as they have had less concrete improvement than SP. Constant feedback about how they hated the class system got straight up ignored, and many of the design reasons given for implementing classes were in the end not realised anyway. South America doesn't even have servers to play on and Armagan personally said he'd get back to them about it... Two years ago!
 
Oh, look, vent thread #210456. Why are we circlejerking about the same old tripe again? Yes, TW is slow. Yes, they are SUPER slow. Yes yes, they are EXTREMELY SLOW. Did you need to get it out of your system? Again? When's the next time you need to regurgitate the same old boring complaints? Mind you, I'm not saying that it's not true. It is. But complaining and moaning about it over and over again ain't changing it.

I'm low-key tired of people just repeating themselves about the same old boring stuff, even when I'm actually kinda agreeing with them, it's still booooring.

Yeah well there's nothing new to talk in these forums, it's like it's reaching it's end. The suggestion tab is dead, like dead dead, the devs took good care of that. I think people lost interest in this game being good someday. GG

That's a fair point I really hadn't thought of lmao. They have killed the game so much that there isn't even anything to discuss. It's so devoid of anything because we've been bringing up suggestion after suggestion for 12 years and just been getting them denied/ignored. Pretty hilarious if you ask me, and a cruel twist of irony.

Excatly TW doesn´t provide any information about anything, they only refer to their so called "roadmap" and their information about the upcoming update is "will be released when it´s ready". Suggestions are getting ignored since a long time.

That´s why the forum is dying, every suggestion that could be made was already made and ignored. Every flaw of the game was already discussed. Seems like most forum members are just waiting for this ****show to end. At least I just wait for this ****show to end. (It took them like 2-3 months to catch up the complaints about the "pila issue" until they decided to talk about this topic. Yet, we have not heard of any decision about the "pila issue" and we won´t hear anything about it before they say something about it in their patch notes).

I just hope they will be at least able to release the game in 2022 with their announced features so that we might have the first good overhaul mods in Q3/2023. That´s at least the best case scenario I can think of.

I´m also quite sure that most of their developing effort ist going into the console port. Otherwise I can´t explain this slow progress between patches without significant changes. Like 20% are still developing the pc version while the rest is catching up with their console port so the console port can be released shortly after the PC version.

-No equipment selection
-Rigid and inflexible class system
-Passive perks which throw off the game balance
-Only 5 Skirmish maps after over 2 years of Early Access (plus another 1 year of alpha/beta testing in which 3 of those maps were already present)

It's kinda like when you go down the sidewalk, and what little "urban greenery" you have on the sides is dotted with dog ****. You're not actively stepping into it, so it's not a big deal, and it doesn't directly affect you in any way, but you still wish people actually cleaned up after their pets, so the place doesn't look filthy.

Yikes.. You might be on to something here.. About 45 from 50 comments I made in the last 4 months we're either about the war in Ukraine or posting pictures of bald men. There just hasn't really been a lot of activity on the Bannerlord front.
 
2 years have passed, still in EA, so slow development, people feedback ignored by TW and guess what, when you open a thread about it, people calling it ****.

Exactly, I'm one of those sitting in the back seats of the theatre with my box of popcorn waiting with interest and curiosity for the curtain to fall at the end of this legendary ****show.

Yes it is a circle jerk. But what other choice do people have besides complaining about it? They're not going to storm the gates of Taleworlds studios. I suppose some naive people are hoping that if they complain loud enough and long enough Taleworlds will actually listen to them. Others have no way to vent their frustration. It's not hurting anyone and I'm actually surprised that most people on these forums are actually being civil about it. Let people complain it may not help change the game but it doesn't hurt and maybe Taleworlds will actually listen for once, stranger things have happened.
